You clearly must not follow the NFL that much.Classyposter58;1353680 wrote:Uh with a full team they went 10-6 last season -

Oh I do but losing receivers 2-5 hurt badly, especially in a passing offenselike_that;1353761 wrote:You clearly must not follow the NFL that much. -
Azubuike24They went 10-6, but lost what, 8 of their last 9? Over the last 24 games the Lions are like 6-18...
They could be on the rise (compared to where they have been the last 1.5 seasons) or the fall (compared to some expectations put in place). -

Nope they went 5-6 to finish last year, they lost to some damn good 6 teams though. GB twice, Atlanta, SF, Chicago and New Orleans. They just need something in the secondary which is beyond atrociousAzubuike24;1354209 wrote:They went 10-6, but lost what, 8 of their last 9? Over the last 24 games the Lions are like 6-18...

Laley23He is right though. Lions are 8-16 over last 24 games.

Oh I know. They probably would have been 7-9 this year without injuries this season, they totally derailed after that 4-4 start. It sucks but hey 5th pick is nice, might as well be terrible if they're not gonna make the playoffsLaley23;1355545 wrote:He is right though. Lions are 8-16 over last 24 games. -

The Browns would have gone 10-6 if those guys were healthy all year.Pick6;1353662 wrote:Not like the Browns were missing two of their best defensive players for a solid part of the season or their best weapon was banged up all season. You wouldnt know if you didnt follow the Browns, though. Doesnt surprise me of Classyposter.

:laugh:I don't think you could be more dumb. The Lions were a season ago 10-6, with the same pieces as last year and another older, considering how young they were. Unfortunately they lost their 2-5 receivers, out with their 2 best secondary players(important since it's a passing league) and a top young D-Lineman in Nick Fairley.like_that;1355549 wrote:The Browns would have gone 10-6 if those guys were healthy all year.

The Browns haven't been 10-6 since 2007, and have Brandon Weeden as their QB. They also reside in Cleveland and Cleveland<Detroit -

This is why I don't think you follow the NFL. It really isn't out of the ordinary for a team to have a good year followed by a pile of shit the following next year. It happens all the time in the NFL. Sometimes the stars align for a season, and a team has a flash in the pan type season. It looks like the Lions had that last year. The Lions still had their 3 best players healthy, and they still only managed 4 games. Cut it any way you want to, but a 4 win season is a pile of shit, and LOL at thinking the team would have been a playoff team if everyone was healthy, especially playing in one of the tougher divisions in the NFL. EVERY team in the NFL deals with injuries. Quit using the fail cop out.Classyposter58;1355552 wrote::laugh:I don't think you could be more dumb. I understand the NFL and get that, but I don't see this Lions team as a flash in the pan. In the most pass happy offense in the league you can't lose all your receivers except one however, that's crushinglike_that;1355558 wrote:This is why I don't think you follow the NFL.
