CLEVELAND - Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher walked out of Browns Stadium with a win Sunday, but some of his family members were not so lucky.

According to a family member of Fletcher's, an altercation between several members of the family and some fans took place after Sunday's game. The family said Cleveland police used Tasers during the incident, which resulted in the arrest of three of Fletcher's family members.

Two of Fletcher's cousins, Hasaan Robinson and Douglas Robinson, were arrested, along with an 18-year-old nephew of the Redskins linebacker according to the family. NewsChannel 5 has reached out to the Cleveland Police Department but have not yet confirmed the alleged arrests.

Nita Ashford, a Cleveland school teacher and a relative of Fletcher, told NewsChannel5 that her family was attacked by angry Browns fans as the family left Sunday's game. During the attack, Fletcher's aunt, 57-year-old-Evette Robinson, suffered a heart attack and was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center, where her condition at this time is still unknown.

Probably running their mouth. Unlike Cincinnati, Cleveland have real fans.

    Sad about the aunt though.

Cleveland fans always seem to be involved with these sorts of run-ins after games. You guys are great

Yes, cause no other fan base has idiots. What a dumb comment.
  • ts1227
Oh come on. Even as Cleveland fans, we know that our fanbase is good for retarded, overly emotional reactions to shit on a regular basis, and more frequent than a lot (not all) fanbases.

I was going to post the exact same thing jordo did, by and large.

Can't imagine the Cleveland school teacher or the 57 year old aunt doing anything wrong.

Who knows what was said with the cousins and nephew.....might never find out. Relatives on the road need to watch their guy and keep their mouths mostly shut....be a little cocky with a smile, don't run your mouth to pissed off people.

Fighting because of happenings at a football game is ridiculous. If you have to drink until drunk and fight....your just a worthless fuckhead. The one who threw the first punch is a complete fuckhead that shouldn't be allowed back in any stadium.

So what if someone is heckling your relative....only dumb shits do that...and who cares if the visiting relatives have some bragging rights. Go get a security guy if too much is being said. The tough guys are wearing pads and helmets down below on the field.

    Pretty much.

2 disappointments. Weeden is Derek Anderson the second. The discipline or lack thereof in falling for the sprint play action. Bad defensive coaching, yes. but after 3 or 4 times of chasing down the line of scrimmage, you would think the d ends or pursuing linebackers would figure it out....and do their damn job. Washington has been doing that all year.

Cousins impressed me. Yes he had all day because of play action, but maybe the Browns should see what it would take to get him. There's nobody available in this year's draft.

    I've seen enough of Weeden.

Why? Cleveland can still finish 7-9 and squeak into that last playoff spot. Why would you give up on a QB that leads us to a rare postseason appearance?

Can't leave it alone, can you?

Weeden is a little smarter than DA was....thus I will not call him a pig. That name will remain for Anderson...who threw 5 picks against a crap Bengal team costing us a playoff birth a few years ago.

Actually reports are that Fletcher's family members were taunting fans. My prayers go out to the aunt.

Like I said....they have to be smarter than that. Can you guys imagine being at an event with a teacher and an aunt and you were being a fucker.....wouldn't they have you to shut the he'll up. Regardless of taunting....the first punch thrown was the biggest ass.
  • SportsAndLady
Typical jordo douchery. Two incidents happen before, and this is now a "Cleveland thing"

The name turdo has never been more fitting.

Reps to COA and others for putting an end to his bullshit opinions that pollute this forum.

Negs to ts for actually agreeing with him.

You really think the 57 year old aunt did something to deserve a trip to the hospital.
