Throwing the coach under the bus? Thought Weeden was better than that. Shurmur isnt helping his case, but Shurmur also isnt the one staring down his guy the whole time, throwing the ball to the other team, and throwing inaccurate.IggyPride00;1344705 wrote:Weeden in the post game for the first time tried to explain the batted ball epidemic by saying that essentially all they throw is short crossing routes, and that teams are just waiting back to get their hands up since they can't get to him. -
Commander of AwesomeWeeden didn't say anything that everyone didn't already know.

Curious to why? The more I think about it, the more excited I get. Smith completed 72% of his passes this season with 40td's and 6 ints. WVU sucked because of the defense, not him.wes_mantooth;1344729 wrote:weeden sucks, but i will kill myself if that happens
Imagine Smith getting groomed by Kyle Shannahan, much like he has done with RG3 this year. Obviously Geno doesnt have RG3's speed, but still.
Pipe dream anyways..Smith is projected to go #1 overall.. I cant deal with another season with Weeden. I really see regression from the beginning of the season. -
Commander of AwesomeYou see regression from a 4int game Pick6? lol

Weeden played like shit, but patty boy did nothing to help him that is for sure. That play calling was so damn predictable. God forbid they run on first down, so instead of it being 3rd and 8 it could be 3rd and 4.IggyPride00;1344705 wrote:Weeden in the post game for the first time tried to explain the batted ball epidemic by saying that essentially all they throw is short crossing routes, and that teams are just waiting back to get their hands up since they can't get to him.
Pretty much spot on.Commander of Awesome;1344706 wrote:I'm glad this whole Patty shit can be laid to bed. He's gone. lolfail at everyone buying in because we won 3 games and forgetting the horrible BS we've had to watch over the last 2 seasons. One thing became abundantly clear to me when watching this, Patty Derpmur doesn't but his players in positions to do well. Redskins had roll outs, RUNNING the fucking ball, some imagination on offense and WRs running actual routes.
Patty dipshit ran about the same 3-5 plays all fucking game. Refused to run the ball, didn't put weeden in any shotgun, movement, roll outs, etc... WRs were running slants and curl routes all damn game. About as vanilla as it gets. I found myself almost hoping for Mo Carthon to come back. That was just flat out pathetic display by Patty boy.
I didn't interpret it that way.Pick6;1344716 wrote:Throwing the coach under the bus?
Not sure where you are getting the idea we are all of a sudden going to get Kyle Shannahan as our coordinator lol. You actually expect him to leave a playoff team to take on the same exact job with a non playoff team? LOLPick6;1344741 wrote:

Not talking about any single game. After his first game, he actually looked mediocre instead of horrible. Cinci games come to mind. He showed potential earlier in the season, while also making mistakes (which is expected)..but his first season is coming to an end and I dont see any progression at all, nor flashes of potential anymore.Commander of Awesome;1344758 wrote:You see regression from a 4int game Pick6? lol -

Yeah, I live in a fantasy world where I think Kyle Shannahan is going to leave being the OC for his dad to come do it for the Browns.like_that;1344759 wrote:

Your better than that man, I was obviously talking about HC. -
Commander of AwesomeI thought Weeden looked good against the Raiders.

He has one good season as a coordinator and you want him to be a HC? That's a bigger LOL. That has Shurmur 2.0 written all over it. He is a child just like Shurmur too.Pick6;1344766 wrote:Yeah, I live in a fantasy world where I think Kyle Shannahan is going to leave being the OC for his dad to come do it for the Browns.

like_thatThis game reminded me of the Giants game. The team just completely collapsed. They legit quit after that Weeden int to start the 2nd half.

Shurmur has nowhere near the resume Shannahan has. Shurmurs offense ranked 26th in the NFL in ppg. LOL.It was a terrible hire by the Browns. Will not be surprised at all if he has a HC job next season.like_that;1344771 wrote:He has one good season as a coordinator and you want him to be a HC? That's a bigger LOL. He was the o-coordinator in Houston when they had the #3 and 4 offenses in the league in 2008 and 2009.like_that;1344771 wrote:He has one good season as a coordinator and you want him to be a HC? That's a bigger LOL. That has Shurmur 2.0 written all over it. He is a child just like Shurmur too.
In 2009 Washington finished 22nd in total offense. Since he's been there they moved up to 18th, 16th, and now 5th. Guy is considered one of the hottest head coaching prospects in the league. You're completely off base on this one. -

IggyPride00Shannahan is only 33, so he would be like Lane Kiffin/Josh McDaniels level young as a first time head coach.
He might be ready, but it will be a risk to whoever takes the leap. He has the bloodlines though. -
september63Geno Smith will NOT get drafted in the top 5.

He is very young, but this is around his 10th season in the NFL and 5th as an OC. He isn't lacking experience.IggyPride00;1344836 wrote:Shannahan is only 33, so he would be like Lane Kiffin/Josh McDaniels level young as a first time head coach.
