Commander of Awesome
No he didn't. He's missed a lot of time, poor rebounder and doesn't play defense. He does score though. He hasn't played defense his entire career, and while he may be playing better defensively now, he's no where near where he needs to be.BigAppleBuckeye;1374818 wrote:You may want to watch him more closely if you think he can't play defense, Lopez has been a beast this year. He got robbed. -

I watch the Nets regularly, and while I would have agreed with you in a heartbeat any other season, this year he is a different animal. I had not been a Lopez fan and I was REALLY hoping to land Dwight, so I have no allegiance to him ... but his defense is MUCH better this year. But yes, wish he would rebound more.Commander of Awesome;1374821 wrote:No he didn't. He's missed a lot of time, poor rebounder and doesn't play defense. He does score though. Harden and jrue are better than Andy,Deng, Noah, dirk, love this year.
Dirk is on the decline, I don't see him being elite anymore. Definitely not a centerpiece like he was 2-3 years ago -
GOONx19No one was playing better than Andy this year.

gport_tennisAndy unfortunately has not been better over 45 games then James harden or jrue holiday. You have to take injuries into play when determining value.

Mulva
This. He rebounds very badly for a center with his athletic ability, but from all reports his defense has been average at worst this year.BigAppleBuckeye;1374818 wrote:You may want to watch him more closely if you think he can't play defense, Lopez has been a beast this year. He got robbed. -

"all you need to do is evaluate his impact and statistical contributions on a more specific scale. Even looking solely at his points (22.8 per 36 minutes), rebounds (9.1 per 36, and no longer a problem for a player who was once board-challenged) and blocks (2.6 per 36), this is a combination of statistical excellence reached by only nine players in NBA history — every one of them an All-Star. On that list: Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Shaquille O’Neal, Alonzo Mourning, Robert Parish, Bob McAdoo and Ralph Sampson." http://nba.si.com/2013/01/25/brook-lopez-all-star-game-brooklyn-nets/?sct=hp_wr_a3&eref=sihpCommander of Awesome;1374821 wrote:No he didn't. Ironman92Per 36 minutes is the key....doesn't he play 29?
Though he does immediately remind me of Kareem. -
wildcats20Watching Blazers/Clippers.
I forgot how good LA is. -
Trueblue23Kyrie is sick.
-
Trueblue23Rumors of Rondo with a torn ACL.

wildcats20This game proves that the Heat just don't give a fuck.

The C's are so bad. And are without their best player and hanging right there. -

But we've seen what the Heat can do when they decide they want to play their A games. -
wildcats20Confirmed torn ACL for Rondo.
-
Trueblue23Rondo officially has a torn ACL.
-
Terry_TateSullinger has been playing pretty well in the little I've seen. Don't think he'll ever be an all-star but he can be a very solid player. Good experience for him here going against Miami.
-
GoChiefsI hope it's all tied up at the end and Ray hits a 3 to win it.

osu45804Sick to my stomach w/ the Rondo news... As if this season couldn't get any worse, There's definitely a fear of blowing up the nucleus of the roster now... This sucks
