RotinajCan't make free throws. Can't even play the guy in the 4th q of close games.

I figured that was it. Last night was bad, but the hack-a-player needs to be stopped.Rotinaj;1335759 wrote:Can't make free throws. Can't even play the guy in the 4th q of close games.
It is the definition of an intentional foul(or in NBA terms, a flagrant 1). If they changed the way the play was called, no team would do it. It would be 2 shots and the ball for that team. NO coach would ever use it anymore. -
TiernanWell I see another NGBA* thug has gone off and killed himself and his baby-mama in Kansas City...oh wait, never mind.

You're saying that now. Probably weren't saying that much last year.wildcats20;1335761 wrote:I figured that was it. Last night was bad, but the hack-a-player needs to be stopped.

Unless the player was on the other team and it helped you win... -

No literally, I hate the rule. It is a joke.Midstate01;1335844 wrote:Unless the player was on the other team and it helped you win... -

Yeah because the player on your team is the one that suffers from it the most.wildcats20;1335847 wrote:No literally, I hate the rule. It is a joke.
Isn't basketball about attacking your opponent's weaknesses? He can't shoot free throws; might as well put him on the line. -
wildcats20
That's fine, but the RULE is what I am talking about. Not the coach's decision to use it.SportsAndLady;1335851 wrote:Yeah because the player on your team is the one that suffers from it the most.

SportsAndLadyEssentially what you're doing right now, Wildcats, is saying "I hate the foul out rule. Why should a player only get 6 fouls? It should be 10!" after your favorite player fouls out.
-
wildcats20
Yeah, that's comparable.SportsAndLady;1335855 wrote:Essentially what you're doing right now, Wildcats, is saying "I hate the foul out rule. Why should a player only get 6 fouls? It should be 10!" after your favorite player fouls out. -
Ironman92It's not much different than playing off a guy that simply cannot shoot from the field and playing everyone else tight in hopes of that the brick layer is forced to get the ball for the shot.
Foul shots are easy. -

Except that is not committing an intentional foul.Ironman92;1335873 wrote:It's not much different than playing off a guy that simply cannot shoot from the field and playing everyone else tight in hopes of that the brick layer is forced to get the ball for the shot.

It's not, technically, an intentional foulwildcats20;1335877 wrote:Except that is not committing an intentional foul. -

Agreed...can't just bitch about a rule because your team suffers from it. Be mad that Dwight Howard, an NBA all star, can't shoot fucking free throws. Does he even practice them? Hard to imagine someone who truly tries to improve his free throw shooting, can't.Ironman92;1335873 wrote:It's not much different than playing off a guy that simply cannot shoot from the field and playing everyone else tight in hopes of that the brick layer is forced to get the ball for the shot.

Yes, I am mad at Dwight. He is borderline Shaq when it comes to FTs.SportsAndLady;1335881 wrote:Agreed...can't just bitch about a rule because your team suffers from it. And speaking of your 2nd point.........Shaq. He had multiple shooting coaches and he never improved. -

Shaq weirdly made them when he needed to. Dwight doesn'twildcats20;1335887 wrote:Yes, I am mad at Dwight. He is borderline Shaq when it comes to FTs.

True. Shaq shot better from the line in the playoffs than he did in the regular season.SportsAndLady;1335890 wrote:Shaq weirdly made them when he needed to. Dwight doesn't -

Can be a technical if not done correctly?
By rule they should call 10,487 travels a game. -
sleeperLOL @ comparing Dwight to Shaq. Shaq is 100000x the player Howard will ever be.
-
sleeperAnd I don't mind the hack-a-Dwight. He should learn to shoot free throws.
-
Ironman92The Bobcats need to be careful...slipping!
Up 94-78 with 5:34 left and lose in OT to the crappy Trailblazers.
I apologize for not knowing how to post a video.....but I have two pics of a crazy Mullens dunk.
Unfortunately tapatalk is saying I can't post pics? Lol
Anyways....he takes off about 10 feet from the basket, jumps 2 footed and slams over someone with an insane reach to get to the rim. -
