wildcats20James Harden update for the night...
24 on 9/19, 12 assists, 6 boards, 3 steals and a block. -
Commander of AwesomeWatching the Wolves Kings game. The Kings announcers are brutal. Really makes me appreciate Carr.

But but...uhh 4 years ago he only averaged 10 points and didn't win a ring. Clearly the worst player ever.wildcats20;1330979 wrote:James Harden update for the night...

GOONx19Sleeper doesn't say he's the worst. He says he's not one of the 25 best. Which is a true statement.

If his numbers stay exactly where they are this year, is he a top 25 player? -

He's certainly having a good season, so its possible he could sneak in. My apologies for not crowning a player after 1 or 2 good games.gport_tennis;1331063 wrote:If his numbers stay exactly where they are this year, is he a top 25 player?
I mean Varejao is having a ridiculous season as a PF/C but do you see anyone even suggesting that Varejao is a top 25 player? No. -

At what point would he be considered? The guy is averaging 14.5 points and 14.9 rebounds per game. He has the highest rebounding rate (per 48) in the NBA. He's shooting a good FT % for a big guy although it would be nice if he got to the line a bit more often.sleeper;1331152 wrote:He's certainly having a good season, so its possible he could sneak in. If you look at his career it's a nice increasing trend. Might his production fall off? Possibly some, but he will be a double-double guy this season ( at worst something like 12/12)
Beyond those more "basic" stats he's a top 10 player in PER.
I'm not saying he is, but he is certainly making a case for himself. -

He has been one of the top 5 centers this year. This year he has absolutely been top 25 -

He had a great season last year as a 6th man. There is a plethora of data suggesting that he would be this good. I don't make my judgements off of 1-2 games. I say barring injury the numbers will stay pretty similar. I don't think he will lead NBA in points but top 7 for sure. He might lead the league in free throw attempts and makes(for a guard) which is huge in my book.
I actually thought his assists would be higher though. I'd like to see him average 7 assists and drop TO under 4. Other than that he has been what I thought he would be. -
gport_tennisHaven't actually watched much of the game but harden is struggling big time tonight oh for eight in the first half. Yikes
-
Laley23Since OSU38967 probably wont post it.
Rondo will have his streak of double digit assist games come to an end tonight. He was ejected with 3 on the night. -

Midstate01I'm not even sure why rondo went after humphries either. I didn't see anything that'd make anyone react the way rondo did

True. I guess I should be more sympathetic about tonights incident.SportsAndLady;1331785 wrote:How can you post when you're crying uncontrollably? -
Commander of AwesomeWizards got off the snide tonight, I watched the 4th qt fully expecting them to blow a 14 pt lead (which they almost did).

Ironman92Byron had a highlight throwback dunk...I know he's 9 foot tall but it's still pretty good.

Trueblue23James Harden checks out with 2:34 left. His final line: 17 points on 3-of-16 shooting, three assists and three turnovers
-
robj55What was Rondo thinking? Humphries would break his ass in half.
