  I agree. Last night, I was pissed that down the stretch in OT, it was Manu forcing shit up. No call or not on the final play, if I'm San Antonio, I'm pissed beyond belief that after the game he'd been having, Manu was the dude that decided to go all out for the win when probably about everyone else on the floor would have been a better option.

  It's not like Parker was having a good game or anything. He was 6-23, but in his favor he did hit a couple of shots late in the game (the big 3 over LeBron to tie it most notably).
  
  Get the ball to Kawhi Leonard maybe?
  
  Duncan was great in the first half then faded hard. Parker was pretty much bad all game except a couple of big shots at the end or regulation. Manu barely even had enough shots to figure out how well he was shooting as he kept turning it over every time he touched the ball. Green had come back to earth. The rest of the role players weren't really doing much beyond Kawhi Leonard.
  
  I think there are there are a few reasonable choices.
  
  Go with who's having a good night - Kawhi (Duncan could also maybe fit this catagory, except he was no where in the 2nd)
  
  Go with your starting PG who has been one of the better players throughout the series and trust him to make the right play - Parker
  
  Go with your most reliable player and base of your franchise for his career who has done well against the guy defending him - Duncan

  I was having a conversation with a friend today comparing Klay Thompson to Kawhi (either of which the Cavs could have taken, and hindsight I think they should have over TT). Given the choice between the 2 I would take Klay Thompson but he said hands down Kawhi. I think Klay playing the 2 spot is more valuable than Kawhi playing the 3. Their numbers are actually much closer than I thought they'd be.

  Can't imagine how the Q would be if a cavs player hit a 3 like that in the finals. They sure as fuck wouldn't be leaving early either. SMH heat fans, SMH.

  That's part of what upsets me about the heat. These mostly awful fans get rewarded with championships and leave early at the site of a potential loss

  I still laugh at whatever that article was from this year proclaiming the Heat have the best fans in the NBA. They tried to use some statistical factors but it was so poorly constructed it was a joke.

  Was just doing some reading on the Heat/Spurs series, and every once in a while you will see 1 or two small comments about last night's decision to put Wade back in after things opened up so much with him out and then the subsequent congestion.

The Heat are minus-12 for the series, but the James–Mike Miller–Ray Allen super-shooting trio is a crazy plus-50 in just 68 minutes, per NBA.com. The James-Miller-Chalmers trio is plus-43 in just 80 minutes, and the combination of those four players is a stunning plus-49 in just 29 total minutes together, per NBA.com.
  
  Those four have only played 15 minutes total with Bosh. The other 14 have come with Chris Andersen in Bosh’s place, and that group has been so successful in those 14 minutes — plus-26 — they nearly break NBA.com’s stats database and replace it with that Home Alone image of Macaulay Culkin screaming.
  
  Which is to say, depending on the flow of Game 7, Erik Spoelstra’s hook on Wade has to be quicker. This is the entire season on the line. He cannot just roll with Wade like it’s 2006 or 2008, trusting Wade’s “warrior” nature and big-game reputation. And he certainly cannot reserve precious late-game out-of-timeout possessions for Wade plays, as he did in calling for a Wade post-up with 2:40 left and the Heat up 87-84. Wade is 6-of-27 on post-ups during the playoffs, per Synergy Sports. He has drawn exactly zero fouls on those 27 shots. He has turned the ball over on 16 percent of his post-up possessions. His post-up game is dead. It might return at any moment — Wade is a crazy shot-maker, as Games 4 and 5 reminded us — but Spoelstra has to operate under the assumption that it is dead until next season.

  Isn't Spoelstra a numbers guy? I don't know how he can justify giving Wade significant minutes with James on the court. I know you don't want to screw with your rotation and line ups too much as that is the point of the regular season to build that chemistry and routine, but this is pretty hard to ignore.

  I really have no idea. But Dwayne Wade without his explosive athleticism really just isn't a good shooting guard, since he can't really shoot that well. But he's great when he's healthy as he can get to the rim and he has a good post up game. But without that, you can see the results and it's bad.
