Week 4: Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens

I agree. Richardson is their best weapon. If they are going to throw, dump it off to him more. It may open up things down the field? He also needs to be carrying the ball at least 20x's a game just to get going....but apparently that doesn't work in this "Shurmtastic" offense. I'd like to see T-Rich getting 25-30 touches per game.like_that;1282438 wrote:69/31 is fucking pathetic. No reason to take your best offensive out of the game.
Also I am with COA, whoever was saying we should try and trade JT needs to GTFO and quit talking about football. That's a complete joke. -
like_thatOk, I had to look back to see who even said anything about Thomas, and I have to say I am not surprised by the first poster:
After seeing the pile of shit you have posted on all Cleveland related threads, this doesn't come as a surprise to me. All I can do is LOL at the idiocy. Thank god you are not the GM.Footwedge;1281766 wrote:Joe Thomas...very overrated.

As for you two, I feel like you two should know better. Midstate, getting island fever already? Give me a break guys, he is playing hurt, and he is still better than 90% of the tackles. Yeah, let's get rid of the best tackle in the league and create more problems for this team. Sounds like a great plan. Also, just for the record Trich doesn't score on that toss sweep without JT. Based on your past posts, I will give you guys the benefit of the doubt, but for fucks sake... smhMidstate01;1281775 wrote:Wonder what they could get for Thomas -

Exactly, Trich is the type of guy who needs more than 20 carries. He is the type of back that wears out a defense, and then break big runs at the end of the game. Also, was it just me, or was anyone else getting pissed at Shurmur insisting on throwing every first down? He overthinks his playcalling way too much. "Oh boy they will never expect us to throw on first down!" Fucking idiot.BR1986FB;1282444 wrote:I agree. Richardson is their best weapon. If they are going to throw, dump it off to him more. Also, I would like to point out Jordo pulled off his typical "i am going to take a shit in the pool" act. Notice how he posted once, and never responded. Obvious troll is obvious. -

I hit on this on my only post during the game last night (even our old buddy Grossi elaborated on this in his morning column). Throw on first (incompletion), run on 2nd (2-3 yard gain), then throw on 3rd (3rd & long). It was getting to the point that it was TOO predictable.like_that;1282455 wrote: Also, was it just me, or was anyone else getting pissed at Shurmur insisting on throwing every first down? Heard another stat on Sirius XM the number of times they threw on 1st down and the number is ridiculous. You HAVE the weapon in #33. Use him properly.
Nothing is worse than being 2nd & 10 and coming back with a run. At least get SOME yardage on the first play. If you want to come back with another run on 2nd down, fine....nothing wrong with that. -
BR1986FB
Yeah, this baffles me. Usually he's not one to hit & run. He usually provides intelligent banter. :laugh:like_that;1282455 wrote: Also, I would like to point out Jordo pulled off his typical "i am going to take a shit in the pool" act. OQBYeah, he doesn't mix up his set of downs very good...
Not only do you have to have balance with the run/pass ratio for the game, you need balance on your run/pass ratio on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down.....these guys are professional coaches, it is their job to pick up on tendancies. the more balanced you are the harder it is to play against. -
RotinajIm pretty sure last year they ran on 100% of the first downs. I remember counting one game and they ran on 12 straight first down plays. Must be trying the exact opposite strategy this season.

For the position Thomas was picked in the draft...he is not only overated, but wayyy overated. He's played like crap all year...and probably single handedly cost us the Eagles game. You like holding penalties? Most people don't.like_that;1282449 wrote:Ok, I had to look back to see who even said anything about Thomas, and I have to say I am not surprised by the first poster:

He has the ability to be great...but doesn't have the heart. Doug Dieken was a better tackle in his day.
As for the "pile of shit" I've posted on "all Cleveland threads", most Cleveland thread posters agree with virtually all of my opinions. FACT.
Now go FY. -
RotinajYea Thomas lost the eagles game. Weeden throwing 700 interceptions had nothing to do with it.

Or little deflecting a pass on the one yard line turning into an int had nothing to do with it. Or fort dropping the int in the endzone. Lmao at footwedge. -

Really I thought the browns should easily win 10 games last year or the cavs were easily a playoff team after lebron left.Footwedge;1282545 wrote:

Holding penalties are just as bad as dropped passes. At least Little wasn't drafted with the third overall pick. And it's not just the holding that pisses me off. He gets beaten way too much on the flank. Every year in fact. His run blocking is average at best. He should never have been a pro-bowler...anyone with a decent set of eyes knows this.Rotinaj;1282549 wrote:Yea Thomas lost the eagles game. As for the Eagles game, He cost us a sure field goal at worst and possibly a touchdown by tackling his man early on in that game. Final score 17-16. Get your calculator out and spend an hour or so doing the math. Pro bowler? Pro bowler my ass. -

Never said "easily". How's your "beast" Little been doing this year? LMAO. Just wondering, do you and Commander ever have a happy day in real life? You twins are the maddest/saddest people I've ever met...online or otherwise. Time for your daily Turdo rant yet?like_that;1282557 wrote:Really I thought the browns should easily win 10 games last year or the cavs were easily a playoff team after lebron left.

I never said Little was a beast. In fact I have been picking him apart since last for year his drops. Nice fail. You can't even get your shit straight. Also pot meet kettle, you are constantly bitching. Can't wait for you to cry about how the 22-23 year olds are picking on you again.Footwedge;1282676 wrote:Never said "easily". I said that it was possible. I bet that the Browns would go "over" 4.5 wins. Hardly a 49er premonition. You want me to list all of my long shot predictions that were right? Didn't think so.Pick6;1282563 wrote:Just like the 2012 Browns were going to be the 2011 49ers -
