Will Tebow be named the Jets starter before week 9?

  • justincredible
Raw Dawgin' It and I have a bet going. Loser buys the winner a team t shirt of their choice.

I say Sanchez remains the starter. He says Tebow will be named the starter before week 9.

    What say you?

Sanchez will have a Jay Cutler game like last night and NY will overreact and name Tebow the starter. The second Sanchez looks like shit there will people yelling for him to be benched.

    I'm going with no.

I'm going with no. Also, not taking into account if Sanchez gets injured.

It's purely based on Sanchez sucking, injuries void the bet.
  • Tiernan
I hope so because for that to happen the Jets would have to be imploding and that is a very real possibility...so I'm going with Yes.

When they signed Tebow I told my dad that I thought he would end up being the starter after a few games.

I think Sanchez stays the starter unless he gets hurt.

    Sanchez is better than Cutler.

Correct. And as for your question in the other thread, I think we said in the vicinity of $30. I won't be upset if you win and find a $35 shirt.

If Tebow proves to the coaches that he gives the Jets the best chance, then he will be the starter. That's how it's done in pro sports...well...except in Cleveland. Here, even in game 1, we are looking at next year...and don't care about winning this year.

Speak for yourself. I still think we can win.

I speak for our coach Shurmer. If he wanted to win last Sunday, we would have won. He doesn't care about winning..he cares about placating the people that did the drafting. When your quarterback is 8-26 with 3 picks...and you are ahead in the 4th quarter, you replace him with a guy who is better...at least better that day. That's what every single pro coach would do...except here in Cleveland. We are 0-1...instead of being undefeated.

Dirty Sanchez will hafta have multiple, like three or more bad games before Timmy gets a shot. Tim is with the Jets for the media attention.

Either that or Tebow has nice feet.

We need to continue this conversation elsewhere, or else otrap will yell at us.

Why would I yell? I'd tell you it's dumb and probably better fits the definition of "derailing" than most posts reported for derailing, but I'm not gonna yell.

Sanchez will get thrown out by the media and fans demanding Tebow Time. It will happen. After 2-3 bad Sanchez starts strung together just like Orton. Sanchez sucks. It's more or less a waiting game. Rex Ryan, the Jets, the fans, and the media, are waiting for Sanchez to screw up

    Im going to go with...no.

    Sanchez sucks. Tebow REALLY sucks.

It could be interesting. Sanchez another win today will buy him 3 crappy games.
  • Raw Dawgin' it
the 306 yards this week is deceiving because of over time. But he keeps sucking like this, Tebow will get the nod pretty soon.
  • said_aouita
I can't believe Jets fans would actually think Tebow is a better option at QB?

    So funny.

See ya Sanchez. Give Rex Ryan one last try at getting a real QB. If R. Ryan screws up again, time for a new coach.

(edit) Just a thought, would the Jets trade Sanchez for Kirk Cousins? Maybe the Redskins don't want to trade the rookie backup but Kirk C. looked good in the preseason.

there were a lot of drops yesterday which didnt help his case.

Interceptions and taking sacks don't either. If they weren't 2-1 he'd have a better shot of getting the start.

    Philbin is a freaking idiot.
