MulvaPerez left for the all-star break a little early.
Dumb gamble by Brantley in that situation. -
BR1986FBPerez can eat a dick. If he gets booed he'd better not bitch about the "fans." Bad with the good, asshole.
-
chippy10fuck perez he sucks ass..... vinny is the only guy i trust...
-
wes_mantooththere is the Perez that we all know and love. I was worried he had gone away for good.
-
FootwedgeActa lost this game in the 6th.
-
ohiobucks1lol guys chill the fuck out
Hes 24/26 at saves this year... I'd take that 100% of the time -
wes_mantooth
eh, Jose Mesa was better than that....and I never trusted him. That worked out in the world series.ohiobucks1;1220895 wrote:lol guys chill the fuck out

I trusted JoBo to blow every save, does that count?chippy10;1220900 wrote:indians have never had a closer i trusted ever.... -

No "chill the fuck out" for me. Fucker was dead to me when he started railing on the fans the first time. If he gets booed, it's deserving. He'd better not whine about the "sad fan base." You perform like shit and you get what you get, booed. Quicker they get rid of the douche, the better in my eyes.ohiobucks1;1220895 wrote:lol guys chill the fuck out

lol he was my fav. I always expected him to fail, so when he actually got a save.....it was like we won the world series..lolMulva;1220902 wrote:I trusted JoBo to blow every save, does that count? -
wes_mantoothSweet. Love a chance to get santana and his .218 average a shot
-
MulvaWow. That looked like strike 3.
-
wes_mantoothLast year, Santana hits that out of the park...that pitch was down the middle belt high
-
MulvaDamn. I was ready to bust out the Casey Clutchman nickname.
I'll take 44-41 at the all-star break. -
KR1245I was always a big fan of Wickman, I dont think the man ever recorded a 1-2-3 9th
-
BRFGreat job by our two All-Stars today. I am trying to stay positive about Perez, though. He just better keep his mouth shut this time and lay off the tweeting.
Anybody remember off hand what our record was last year at the break? -
Mulva
We were 47-40 on this date last year. Not sure if that was the all-star break or not.BRF;1220936 wrote:Great job by our two All-Stars today. I am trying to stay positive about Perez, though. He just better keep his mouth shut this time and lay off the tweeting.

We've been consistently average this year though, which is about right. Last year was 2 months of way better than they actually were, followed by 4 months of way worse. -
wes_mantooth
right on....we are a .500 team talentwise as it stands. The FO didn't make any splash in free agency and I doubt they do anything by the deadline.Mulva;1220964 wrote:We were 47-40 on this date last year. Not sure if that was the all-star break or not.

Not that I wouldn't like to see them make a move but what do we have, besides every day young players (Kipnis, Chisenhall, young pitchers) and the stud "5 tool" SS down in the minors, as trade bait?wes_mantooth;1220977 wrote:right on....we are a .500 team talentwise as it stands. Nothing.
Eating big salaries is all they can do....and we all know that won't happen. -
IggyPride00
They gutted what little the farm system had for Ubaldo last year.BR1986FB;1220980 wrote:Not that I wouldn't like to see them make a move but what do we have, besides every day young players (Kipnis, Chisenhall, young pitchers) and the stud "5 tool" SS down in the minors, as trade bait?
It is a sad state of affairs that our minor league system is so devoid of prospects considering the amount of guys we've traded away over the past 5 years. We should be overflowing with prospects, and instead are completely barren. -
BR1986FB
That was my point. We have nothing.IggyPride00;1220997 wrote:They gutted what little the farm system had for Ubaldo last year.

You wouldn't have to give up shit for soriano, but his contact is gross -

Would've had a RH bat and a prospect had they gone after Pence last year.wes_mantooth;1221002 wrote:You wouldn't have to give up shit for soriano, but his contact is gross
