I put Jordan in there for comparisons sake; however this is about Kobe vs. Lebron and I think the debate has been put to rest. -

chicago510I don't think anyone rational could say that RIGHT NOW Kobe is better. LeBron owned this playoffs.
However, Kobe's body of work is far superior. -
se-alumAs much as I dislike the way LeBron left Cleveland, he will go down as the best all-around basketball player of all-time.

He would have to accomplish a lot over the rest of his career to do that. He is not there yet.se-alum;1209114 wrote:As much as I dislike the way LeBron left Cleveland, he will go down as the best all-around basketball player of all-time. -
RotinajYou forgot the rape stats. That is what puts Kobe over the top. Lebron is still looking for that first one!!

That and dancing. -
jhay78If you had access to a mad scientist basketball factory and could create the near-perfect basketball machine, you would end up with Lebron. Greatest physical talent ever, just ahead of Wilt. That said, he has a ways to go to pass Kobe on the scale of competitor/ championship winner.
BTW, if I were starting a team I would pick LeBron over Kobe.
MJ has no business being part of this comparison, he's by far better than both. -
wildcats20I'm confused on who actually thinks this?

Why are you comparing Robert Horry with Kobe? I thought the thread was LBJ/Kobesleeper;1209156 wrote:Robert Horry 7 > 5 Kobe Bryant

Dr. KnOiTaLLLeBron is a better all around player than Kobe, but with the game on the line, LeBron is passing the rock to Kobe EVERY TIME.
