like_thatIndians need to take advantage of this series. That is all.

Yes they do considering they have Baltimore and New York next. If they played .500 ball and took 2 of 3 series it would be a phenomenal trip.like_that;1208797 wrote:Indians need to take advantage of this series. That is all. -
Laley23Keep the momentum going, and take game one. Then you can go 1/2 versus Houston and 3/3 versus Bmore and NYY. That would be awesome.

Lol, I meant 3 L and 3 W. Basically, win 1 of the 2 series. Of course, that was looking at only June and I didnt realize we have a game versus Bmore in July, so a 4 game set. So maybe 2/3 with Houston, 2/4 from Baltimore and 1/3 from NYY. 5-6 on that road trip Id take. If we can sneak in another W, and have a winning record...Ill be REALLY excited.vball10set;1208864 wrote:lol--you've got a better chance of seeing Jesus, but I guess you can dream -
shook_17Yes, we need to kick them while they are down. I want another sweep.

hahaha, sorry, thought you meant 3/3 from the Orioles and then the Yanks...but yes, a 5-6 road trip would be considered a successful one.Laley23;1208901 wrote:Lol, I meant 3 L and 3 W. I also saw the Tribe is pushing hard to try and land Youk... -

Hope they snag a starting arm to go with him. Is Rodriguez pitching for Houston in this series? Perhaps an option?hoops23;1209030 wrote:Another failed draft pick.

great, another johnny damon type pick up.hoops23;1209030 wrote: I also saw the Tribe is pushing hard to try and land Youk... -

I wouldn't expect his numbers to stay that low, particularly with a change of scenery. Plus he is RH, and plays a multitude of positions.Glory Days;1209042 wrote:great, another johnny damon type pick up. -
Crimson streakI heard greinke may be available and same with cole hamels. Any of those 2 would be amazing. I would prefer hamels though. Add him and say youk or willingham possibly would make us the favorites in the central

MulvaHouston is wayyy better at home than on the road. 2 out of 3 would be real nice.
-
FootwedgeTribe has a left fielder in triple A that has been moving up the ranks. Hit 380 out west and is still pounding it at Columbus.
Then I looked up his splits and he can't hit lefties. Damn. -

Youk's not young but he ain't 54 years old like Damon.Glory Days;1209042 wrote:great, another johnny damon type pick up. -
Con_Alma,,,and just like that 1-0 Tribe after 3 pitches.

The question I would have, would be what do the the Indians have available to trade that they can spare that would be sufficient to land a player of significance.I heard greinke may be available and same with cole hamels. Any of those 2 would be amazing.
"Selling" teams want prospects or young players, and the Tribe dealt it's top pitching prospects for Ubaldo last year. Who do they dangle out there? -
Glory Days
....UBALDO! ha, wait, nevermind, no other team would fall for that trick again.HitsRus;1209506 wrote:The question I would have, would be what do the the Indians have available to trade that they can spare that would be sufficient to land a player of significance.

dazedconfusedso close, santana. only out by about 8 feet
-
hoops23Ubaldo has been excellent his last 4 or 5 starts. Starting to string together some great ones. Fastball is is back to a consistent 95 and his offspeed stuff has been great.
-
hoops23And no idea why Santana was sent there.... Unless he tagged on his own.
Frustrating to see bases loaded with less than 2 outs and you get nothing. -
