wes_mantoothThese offenses are dreadful....houston has the infield in....in the 2nd inning.

And the Tribe goes up 1-0 on a wild pitch....wes_mantooth;1210348 wrote:These offenses are dreadful....houston has the infield in....in the 2nd inning. -
wes_mantoothI am so glad that this is the last game of interleague play. We didn't even play an elite team and still ended up around or below .500. Even in years that the Tribe is good, it seems like they struggle.
Now we get to see what they are made of....tough stretch ahead. -

I remember in 2005 when interleague play volted us back into the division race after we completely dominated the NL.wes_mantooth;1210424 wrote:I am so glad that this is the last game of interleague play. I think we dominated in 2007 as well, but outside of that, you're right... Always seems like our offense completely sputters right around IL play. -
wes_mantoothNice to see the offense show up again today.....fucking joke.
-
hoops23This is pathetic. I doubt we score again.
4 runs in 3 games against the fucking Astros who has 24 wins coming into this season...
Also sounds like the White Sox are now the frontrunners for Kevin Youkilis and Boston is going to pick up 5 out of the 8 million owed. -
wes_mantooth
I doubt the Indians actually made much of a play for him....everything I hear is that they are all about Carlos Lee. I am still pissed at those idiots for choosing Ubaldo over Pence...if that is a true rumor.hoops23;1210434 wrote:This is pathetic. I doubt we score again.

Hopefully you don't admit to living "in Sandusky" after Friday's verdict.:laugh:hoops23;1210429 wrote:I remember in 2005 when interleague play volted us back into the division race after we completely dominated the NL.

I'll bet our Reds pals will love that line! Ha ha.wes_mantooth;1210424 wrote:We didn't even play an elite team and still ended up around or below .500 .
I'm going to be the optimist today and say that the Tribe is doing better at this point in the season than I would have imagined before the season started. In fact......way better. -
wes_mantoothsweet move Manny.....lol
-
BRFI feel bad for the people of Sandusky, but that video cracked me up, hoops! You also posted some pretty good stuff on "funny pictures".
It helps get my mind off the game.
Down to 4 outs as I type. -
HitsRusIn case you missed what I posted at the bottom of page 3...I was dead serious about not being able to score when you have 2 dead spots in the batting order. Today not only is the left field slot and the pitchers spot an automatic out, but we have Marson in their too. It is no wonder when that we win if/when we get offensive production from our left fielder...and lose when we don't.
Please call up LaPorta and insert him in left field against the left handed pitchers, and let's find out once and for all if the guy can hit MLB pitching. If he can't then the top priority for a July move needs to be a RH outfield stick. If LaPorta can just hit .250 and drive in some runs, then we can look for an arm to strengthen either middle relief or the rotation. You are not going to be able to do all three. Do we have anybody that a "seller" would want in a trade? -

Yeah, I agree about having too many easy outs in the lineup. If they don't do something, it simply reinforces what most of us think....the FO isn't committed to winning.HitsRus;1210458 wrote:In case you missed what I posted at the bottom of page 3...I was dead serious about not being able to score when you have 2 dead spots in the batting order. Highly unlikely. Think they shot their trading "wad" in the Ubaldo trade.HitsRus;1210458 wrote:Do we have anybody that a "seller" would want in a trade? -
hoops23Yeah, not sure how the FO can justify this offense right now...
And I seriously hope they're not planning on counting on Sizemore to be the savior... Another LH batter who will K 75% of the time before eventually hurting himself again. -
wes_mantooth
Yeah, but you know that those idiots will say "once we have Grady and Travis healthy"......bunch of goddamn morons.hoops23;1210463 wrote:Yeah, not sure how the FO can justify this offense right now...

Also, I heard someone on KNR saying that they have some 5 tool prospect that they had better not trade....can't remember the name -

Gotta be Lindor. 1st round draft pick last year, and about the only prospect worth shit.wes_mantooth;1210464 wrote:Yeah, but you know that those idiots will say "once we have Grady and Travis healthy"......bunch of goddamn morons.

hoops23Yeah, Lindor is legit.
-
wes_mantoothYeah, that is the name.

hoops23Ball game. Another series where we win the first and drop the next 2. Excellent. I have a feeling we'll be under .500 soon.
-
chippy10we won't win one game in the next seven... anyone wanna take that?
