U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to File Charges Against Lance Armstrong

  • Con_Alma
Stripped of the titles by whom? Does the USADA even have the ability to take his titles?

This is one of the most tested athletes in history.

    Cheater finally got caught.
  • ricola
most tested ---perhaps. Doesn't mean he didn't dope. I sure believe he did.

The man has one testicle...cut him some slack. I'm on the side that does not care if athletes use PED's.

collected blood samples from Armstrong in 2009 and 2010 that were “fully consistent with blood manipulation including EPO use and/or blood transfusions.”

So the charges they filed is proof he cheated? LMAO.
  • Commander of Awesome
No opinion on if he cheated or not, and I don't really about cycling. However I'm against atheltes cheating.

    Evidence is evidence.

You're naive to think he devoured the field in 7 Tour de Frances against all the other cyclist who WERE doping. This is a good article stating that Armstrong was 5% better than all the other cyclists in the TdF that were doping. Whereas Usain Bolt, who is dominate in track and field is only 1-2% better.

I used to be an Armstrong defender until I opened my eyes and realized it just doesn't make sense. He beat cancer, God bless him. But IMHO, he is a cheater when it comes to doping.

EDIT: Whoops. Forgot the link. http://www.forbes.com/sites/richkarlgaard/2012/06/13/lance-armstrong-hero-cheat-and-tragic-figure/

That's about the best argument prosecutors can come up with too.

I know it's not actual proof..but I do agree with that...there's no way he's destroying the (doping) competition without himself doping as well.

He passed every test he was given, they have been accusing him of cheating for about 5 years now, and nothing has come out of it. If they thought he was cheating, why didn't they bring attention to this while he was winning those 7 titles? They could have easily found out he was doping during that time. It's a joke they all of a sudden are going to retroactively try to punish him. GTFO with that.

idk I don't really care that much becuase it's cycling lol I just think he doped. I have no logistical argument, just can't fathom LA never doping once.
