lol Give Lebron 2 or 3 more fouls and force him to sit and/or change up his play style and tell me it doesnt directly effect the outcome of the game

Can't believe people are really blaming the refs for the series turning out the way it has so far. Miami has clearly outplayed OKC thus far, they have led for probably 80% of the 3 games thus far. OKC needs to execute better, rebound better, defend better and play with a higher level of intensity. They also need to stop relying on the jump shot so much, which probably won't happen because that's what they are. This game 4 is do or die for them, they don't win and they are down 3-1 with one more game to go in Miami.

    Game 4....who takes it?

I said going to Miami that I could see OKC winning #4 or #5....not sure though now. OKC isn't playing very smart. Harden has to be good for OKC to win.

I don't think we've seen OKC play their best game yet. Way too sloppy, especially Harden, and too many mistakes. But all three games have been tight, the remainder of the series could go either way.

Lol bad calls happen. Lebron shut down Durant in the 4th, OKC missed a ton of free throws and jump shots. Those are the reasons they lost. Not because 2 bad foul calls on KD.

I know its not the only reason, but it def had a big effect on the game

I still think this is going to go 7. I can't see Miami winning 3 in a row, even if its at home. If it goes back to OKC, then OKC should take it.

I think Miami wins game 4, they shot 37% and still won game 3. Lebron has yet to have a game where he has got his jump shot going really, he is due for that to turn around. Likewise, Durant hasn't had an off game yet and he is due for one of those. I said before the series that Miami matched up very well with OKC and that OKC was a better match up for them than the Spurs.

The series is due for a blowout. Either OKC or Miami will pummel their opponent by 15 in one of these games.

I'm stilll leaning towards Miami on the receiving end of a lopsided affair. Their 4th quarter "brick walls" they tend to hit is going to come back and bite them in the ass.

I think if OKC can take the series back to OK they'll win it

    [LEFT]Saw this on another board.

Durant in the last 3 games.

    1.7 assists per game

    3.0 turnovers per game
    5.7 rebounds per game

That's not gonna get it done. He needs to step it up all around and stay out of foul trouble.

I think that's out of his hands

Was just thinking that, needs to do way more than just score. Shut someone down on defense, make some plays with your passing, grab 15 rebounds in a game because he is more than capable.

I agree. He should be guarding someone else. He can't check LeBron for an entire game. He was getting by him rather easily.

Agreed I really like how harden defended lebron. I thought he really held him in check

Heat + refs by 4 tonight.

IMO it's not necessarily how bad the refs were overall, but moreso how bad the calls were that put Durant in foul trouble. Bad calls happen, but refs can control the outcome of the game if they choose to put someone in foul trouble.

I think tonight's the night Westbrook goes off for 40 I just got that feeling.

    Random question.

Did East coast playoff and finals games always tip off at 9? Too late IMO....730 or 8 would be better.

    Yeah, agreed.....too late for me

This series is over. The Thunder needed to get up 2-0 and/or 3-1 to be able to close out this Heat team. You knew that Miami would close out a series strong as they have all this season. Lebron James, like all great players, has taken the criticism from last year and turned it around.

Hate to say it..but TKFA is gonna get his first ring, and probably a few more.

I saw a report a few years ago about ratings and the start times of the WS and NBA finals. Between 1130-1200 was the highest ratings across the country. They suspect it for a few reasons.......game is toward the end and people tuning in to see it..and also that is 830-900pm on the west coast, a popular time for them to tun in.

I hate the lateness of games too, but they are gonna look at the ratings, and the ratings spike that late.

They had a segment on SC about how Lebron has somehow managed to play physical defense on Durant and still average less than a foul per game. Jalen and I think it was Barry had no explanation as to how that happens. Lol we all know how that happens.

Anyways, I think RW goes off tonight and is in attack mode from the get go and powers them to a win. Then Miami will take game 5

Can you point out any specific plays from last game that were fouls, or are you just making the assumption that because someone plays physical defense they should have fouls called on them. You can defend without fouling you know.
