NBA Finals: Miami Heat vs Oklahoma City Thunder

We need to stop comparing Lebron and Durant, they really are two different players with two different styles/mentalities. Durant has more of that Iverson scorers mentality, looking to score first always. Lebron has more of a team first approach, looking to make plays and get others involved, even to a fault at times.

I'd try to start Collison then bring Perk in. Try to combat those slow starts, while not really hurting the rebounding battle.

LeBron means way more to his team.

I think Brooks likes Collison's energy off the bench, which is why we may see him not starting.

I already argued this earlier, don't wanna get into it again though. Taking nothing from Durant, he is sensational and reminds me of just a young kid who loves to play the game and enjoys the moment.

Yep. It should be Ibaka and Collison.

You cant put Perkins at the 5 against Bosh. Hell, there was a stretch tonight when Perkins was on the court while Bosh was at the 5 and Bron was at the 4,that cant happen

They need to get off Westbrook, he is playing outstanding basketball. Durant is getting the ball more than enough, and he is more efficient in part thanks to Westbrook who opens up the whole game for him.

    LeBron means more.

I cant agree with this. One of the biggest knocks on KD is that he's not selfish enough.

Collison only played 15 minutes tonight. He shouldn't be under 20 at all in this series.

His shot to pass ratio has to be one of the highest in the league, when he gets it, it generally is going up. Miami did a good job tonight denying him the ball at times.

Except Lebron averages shooting more times than KD. Its not like KD is a ballhog and jacks up dumb shots and is a volume scorer like Iverson. Hes an efficient, high basketball iq, scorer who can score from anywhere on the court with ease.

Lebron is a better passer no doubt, but Kd isnt leaps and bounds behind him in terms of helping and being valuable to his team, if at all really.

I wouldn't change anything for OKC in the starting lineup. They just need to play better in the first 12 minutes.

Did Stephen A just say that Westrbook is the worst pg in finals history?

    Has he been watching Chalmers?

This post is just as bad as my "antagonizing" posts.

You missed my point, I wasn't saying that he isn't a team player or whatever, that's his role to score. He shoots it almost every time he touches it, but he is great at that so why shouldn't he.
  • robj55
Lebron is more of a point forward and is asked to run the offense, while Durant isn't. Like I said, two different players who aren't really comparable from what their teams are asking of them.

Then Lebron must shoot too much for you since he puts up more shots a game than Kd? albeit he also has more assists by a decent margin
  • jpake1
He's playing bad, but good as well. Kinda odd to describe. He's played big down the stretch, not he's no efficient. KD should be the one shooting 4 more times a game, not him.

Westbrook is averaging huge numbers with low turnovers, this shit of getting on him is ridiculous.

    Agree with that

Anyhow, the non call was shit, but Lebron knocking down the free throws was clutch as fuck

    Seriously? STHU

Honestly, if Durant plays 4 quarters like he does the 4th, this series would be over in four games. It's unbelievable how he can score. Why don't guys like him (and Lebron) just do this shit all game?

Like I said, shot to pass ratio, Lebron often will pass up a shot to get a teammate involved. I'm not knocking Durant that's just what it is.

Hes playing great, its just the media has it in their mind that Kd needs to shoot 30 times a game for them to win. Hes not a volume scorer. And Westbrook is doing just what Brooks wants him to

Why does Stephen A have a job? The dude is a complete hack
