Windians vs Chisox 5/7-5/9

  • ohiobucks1
I think I'll start this one as last year I had a pretty good record as thread starter:

    Today @ 1:05
    Humber (1-1) McAllister (0-0)

    Today @7:05
    Stults (0-0) Tomlin (1-2)
    Tomorrow @ 7:05
    Danks (2-4) Masterson (1-2)
    Weds @7:05
    Peavy (3-1) Gomez (2-1)

    I want atleast 3 out of 4 :)

IMO this is the best lineup we could have out there at this time

As bad as Duncan has been, Kotchman is still worse offensively lol. But I like the top 7, in the order they are in. Probably would flip-flop Pronk and Supernatural though.

^^^I struggled with that one too, Laley--I'm not a Kotchman fan, but he seems to heading upwards (albeit barely) as opposed to Duncan's slumping...Thing 1 and Thing 2 :p

Dont get greedy with the White Sox here at home.

hell, i was expecting to be 3-7 during the Sox/Rangers/Sox series.

The radar doesn't look too bad hopefully they can get the first one in.

Busy weekend for me but our Tribe takes 2 of 3 from the Rangers? Unicorns must exist. They have owned us like none other the last 3 years. I think it was something like 13-3 Rangers over the last 3 years.

Glad we don't have to face Sale. He has been pretty good and tough on the Tribe.

They moved sale to the closer role

Looks like the delayed 1:30 start time should be a good to go. Hopefully they get it all in. Radar looks pretty decent. Cant say for sure about the 7:05 game, but then again, radar changes pretty quickly.

    Wow Mcallister blows
  • Crimson streak
There's looks to be maybe a 100 people there today lol

Had to break out the seeds for this one.

    this pitcher sucks
  • hoops23
Tribe puts up 3 in the 2nd.

Spot start for McCallister...just kinda shows you how big that Ubaldo trade was. If Zach can give us 6 innings+ today and if the Tribe could get a big lead, that would be a big help for our overworked setup man and closer. Acta would like to get them a day off, but that might not be today. We are gonna see a lot of Wheeler, Sipp and Ascendio today, I have a hunch.

Oh god, how bad is Humber? Even letting Brantley and Kotchman get in on the act.

    I still want 3 of 4

Humber is bad. Era over 5 last years 2nd half and since his perfect game has pitched like 14 innings and given up almost 20 runs.

Not that the perfect game was a fluke. But he has been bad more often than good

Indians are starting to get me a little excited......I love getting my hopes up...only to be disappointed

I know what you're saying, but I had to throw that little jab in there--after all, it WAS a perfecto

Laley won't say it was a fluke, but I will. He has 1 complete game in his career. Similar to Jonathan Sanchez's no-no, as I believe that is also his only complete game. Dude was a highly rated prospect but outside of that 1 perfect day, he seems to pretty much be a disappointment. With that said, Great to see the Tribe's bats alive, don't care who it is against it is nice to see. Hopefully they play game 2 tonight and keep it rolling.
