KR1245Wow, Pacers can't get a call.
-
wildcats20That's an offensive foul.

robj55This series may only go 5 games, but it will be tightly contested. Pacers won't roll over for anyone.

KR1245Pacers needed to go inside more. If Bosh misses some time I could see the Pacers making this a series

West is a pick and pop player and Hibbert isn't a guy who is going to dominate on the block for an entire game.KR1245;1169354 wrote:Pacers needed to go inside more. If Bosh misses some time I could see the Pacers making this a series -
robj55Indiana has to get Granger and George going, meanwhile, Miami needs to get their 3 point shooting with Chalmers, Battier and Miller going.

West can go insiderobj55;1169358 wrote:West is a pick and pop player and Hibbert isn't a guy who is going to dominate on the block for an entire game.
Hibbert might not spend the entire game down there but the threat of him doing inside could open some things up for the shooters. If Hibbert decides to post up the Heat will have no choice but to double -

Did they double him today?KR1245;1169364 wrote:West can go inside

yeah, they sent help over a couple times today. It wasnt a Shaq double where half the team collapses but they sent helprobj55;1169365 wrote:Did they double him today? -
KR1245Point I'm making is that the Pacers clear advantage is inside. If you're being guarded by Joel Anthony and Ronny Turiaf you adapt your game and go inside. The playoffs is about making adjustments, if Bosh is out you go inside

karen lotzNo more games today KR, can you explain your Cavs > Mavs thinking now?

Nvermind, I gotchta -
karen lotzYou'd take that cavs team minus Lebron over the Mavs minus Dirk. You said you'd explain why because laley asked.

KR1245
Yeah. I just think the differences between the two teams isnt as extreme as people would like to think.karen lotz;1169376 wrote:You'd take that cavs team minus Lebron over the Mavs minus Dirk. You said you'd explain why because laley asked.
It might be me but I would take the Cavs frontcourt over the Mavs. I'm taking Shaq, Z, Hickson and Andy over Haywood, Chandler and Mahimi and Cardinal. I give the advantage to the Mavs in the backcourt with Kidd, Terry and Barea but I dont think they're THAT much better than Gibson, West and Mo. -
hoops23I actually agree. I'd take the Cavs front court over the Mavs' front court..
Back courts weren't as lopsided as some would lead you to believe. JET is a fluid scorer and Kidd is still a good playmaker, but they don't have any elite talent there.
When West was at his best he could give you 14-16 a game and play terrific defense. Mo Williams was a very good scorer as well.
Dallas didn't have a 2nd star player though, which I think was KR's basic point. -
robj55Dallas had players who actually stepped in the playoffs, unlike Cleveland who had one guy trying to do it all and no one else really helping on the offensive end.

Boobie Gibson stepped up big time in Game 7 of the Conf finals that sent the Cavs to the Finals.robj55;1169667 wrote:Dallas had players who actually stepped in the playoffs, unlike Cleveland who had one guy trying to do it all and no one else really helping on the offensive end. -
Laley23Pacers have a shot in this series if Granger and George start to hit from the outside.
Hibbert needs to be a threat, but he wont ever dominate a game. Just isnt his style, nor the Pacers way of playing. But George and Granger can make Wade and James take tough shots all series long. Eventually, that will work itself out. I doubt it will be enough, but I can see them taking it 6.
Also, George Hill cant have 5 fouls 2 seconds into the second half. He is WAY to valuable to this team, and when Barbosa has to play on the ball and not off the ball, its a problem.
