    Bynum and Gasol are a combined 14-40 the last 2 games and Kobe is 28-56 who do you think should get more shots?:rolleyes:

    Thats on Bynum and Gasol.

    In bed at halftime, some of us have to get up and work.

    ok.

    Of course Chuck thinks that, he hates Kobe and the Lakers and had picked Denver to win the series from the beginning.
    The reason the series is 3-3 now is because the Nuggets bench is out scoring the Lakers bench 234-81 and Gasol has once again disappeared in a Playoff Series.

    Flagrant has NOTHING to do with going for the ball.

    You can make a play on the ball and still commit a flagrant foul

    This sums it up pretty clearly.

    The League Office will consider the following factors (as well as any other relevant facts and circumstances) in determining whether to classify a foul as Flagrant "1" or Flagrant "2", to reclassify a flagrant foul, or to impose a fine and/or suspension on the player involved:
    1. The severity of the contact;
    2. Whether or not the player was making a legitimate basketball play (e.g., whether a player is making a legitimate effort to block a shot; note, however, that a foul committed during a block attempt can still be considered flagrant if other criteria are present such as recklessness and hard contact to the head);
    3. Whether, on a foul committed with a player's arm or hand, the fouling player wound up and/or followed through after making contact;
    4. The potential for injury resulting from contact (e.g., a blow to the head and a foul committed while a player is in a vulnerable position);
    5. The severity of any injury suffered by the offended player; and
    6. The outcome of the contact (e.g., whether it led to an altercation).
    NOTE: Each team will continue to be held responsible for the actions of its players on the court. Accordingly, if any individual player or team (collectively) commits, in the judgment of the League Office, an excessive number of flagrant fouls during the Playoffs, the player and/or that team's Head Coach will be subject to appropriate fines and/or suspensions.

    For a flagrant, it just has to be unnecessary contact. I would definitely say there was. When deciding between and Flagrant 1 and Flagrant 2, whether or not he makes a basketball play is a factor.

    Let's go through the factors.

    1) Severity: I didn't watch the game, but I believe he show the FT's and continued to play. Didn't seem that serious. If he had to come out immediately it might be a 2.

    2)Whether or not legitimate basketball play: this favors 1 as he was going for the ball, it just happens that Faried's head was in the way.

    3)Whether or not committed with a players arm or hand, whether there was a follow through or wind up. The foul was committed with his "arm/elbow area" and there was a little wind up as he cocks back his arm before going for the block.

    4) Potential for injury: Here it wa sa blow to a head AND the player was in a vulnerable position (in the air), this doesn't bode well.

    5) Severity of injury: In the end doens't seem too severe unless news of a concussion comes out.

    6) Outcome of contact: No fight resulted on people walking to each other, Kobe even helped Faried up.

    I would say a flagrant 1 is probably the right call.

    Lol he didnt even come close to the ball and gave him a forearm shiver across his head. If it were someone liek Faried fouling a superstar like Kobe in the same fashion...he would of been ejected.

    Yeah, I didn't watch the 2nd half. Only saw the video of it. I agree. If someone does that to a superstar, they are immediately gone and probably suspended for the next game. It was a terrible decision by Kobe.

    And lol at someone saying Kobe wasn't sick. You don't get IV's before and at half time when you are healthy. And Kobe whining and not stepping up? Um, where did Kobe NOT step up last night. He was about the only one in purple who even tried.

    Kobe was 13/23. The other Laker starters were a combined 13/39. So again, who didn't step up?

    Yeah I fully agree, but the NBA wont pull that trigger and have a superstar potentially sit out a game 7. it is what it is, I'm just glad that Faried isnt injured for game 7.

    I agree he was sick, I just was sick of hearing the announcers make a note of it every 10 seconds. But yeah you dont get iv's willingly unless you really are in need and sick as a dog.

    Apparently everyone but Skyhook agrees that it was a horrible decision by Kobe and a clear flagrant. Retard

    Yeah, I'm glad to see Faried is ok. Dude is a freak and a definite asset for the Nuggs.

    So how many games did Wade get again? What is the difference in the 2 fouls? Wade made no play for the ball and gave another player a broken nose and a concussion after hitting a player in the head.

    I wasnt quite sure if he was gonna pan out in the NBA due to being undersized and nto really having an offensive game(which he still doesnt really). But even as cliche as it sounds, he has a motor that just doesnt stop running. Him and Mcgee are gonna have to continue to be active on the glass and we're gonna have to hit some open shots to have a chance to wint his game 7. It should be a damn good game

    Are you really that fucking dense? I Said if it was someone like Faried makign a foul on a superstar that itd of been an ejection. That was superstar on superstar, and it was during an all star game, I'm pretty sure you cant get suspended for regular season games for conduct during an allstar game.

    Wade made a play on the ball(hard) and followed through and hit Kobe in the nose, quit whining about it there was nothing dirty there. All you are trying to do is detract attention from Kobe's dirty play.
