GOONx19^ Lol.

BR1986FBSounds like "Manning to Miami" is out and they will now turn their attention to Matt Flynn. Arizona & Denver likely finalists.

BR1986FBTexans now in the mix?

I feel like Peyton wouldn't play in the Colts division. I don't think he would like to play the Colts twice a year.BR1986FB;1113949 wrote:Texans now in the mix?

Do the Texans even have enough cap room? I tell you what though, Manning to the Texans makes them the SB favorites. -
georgemc80The only explanation for the Texans to be interested in Manning comes down to two possibilities. 1. They know something about Matt Schaub and his foot injury. 2. Trying to drive up the price on division rival Titans.
Outside Schaub's foot not healing, I still find it comical and ridiculous for the Texans to sign Peyton Manning.
Texans just released Eric Winston. I am sure they know what they are doing, but somebody is going to pick up a great Tackle. -

Just posted this on the Browns thread. Still pretty young (28) and very durable (started every game since 2007). Would be a MAJOR upgrade over Pashos at RT.georgemc80;1114004 wrote:

BR1986FBTitans were prepared to make a run at Mario Williams but have now shifted their efforts toward Peyton Manning per Adam Schefter.
Return home to the Volunteer State? -
Footwedge
Texans can win it all with Schaub. I don't understand the mutual interest and fit here. The other places make more sense for a Peyton expiramentBR1986FB;1114042 wrote:Titans were prepared to make a run at Mario Williams but have now shifted their efforts toward Peyton Manning per Adam Schefter.

georgemc80I agree footwedge. Texans just released Matt Leinart. I guess Yates is the better value.

Dollar on Miami. -
BR1986FBKinda stunned on this one because I thought they were out of the mix but it now sounds like Miami may be the frontrunner for Manning...
-
robj55Please let him come to Miami, if I have to watch another season go down the drain with a back up qb I'm going to off myself.

Why are you stunned? B/c Twitter told you they were out?BR1986FB;1114820 wrote:Kinda stunned on this one because I thought they were out of the mix but it now sounds like Miami may be the frontrunner for Manning... -

No. He has better options.ernest_t_bass;1114836 wrote:Why are you stunned? B/c Twitter told you they were out? -

Like who? Denver? Arizona? I don't think those are better options or situations.BR1986FB;1114843 wrote:No. He has better options. -

That's nice. He has better football teams he could play for in other states where he'd have a chance to get back to the playoffs/Super Bowl faster.ernest_t_bass;1114847 wrote:He has a home in Florida. -

Yes they are. Weak divisions -
BR1986FB
Really...because they BOTH play in VERY weak divisions. Same with Tennessee. Much easier to get back to the playoffs/Super Bowl than facing the Patriots & Jets 4x's a year.robj55;1114854 wrote:Like who? Denver? Arizona? I don't think those are better options or situations. -

Agreed with that, but Miami has the most complete team, we have been a qb away for years now. Weapons on offense, young and solid defense, pro bowl kicker.BR1986FB;1114857 wrote:Really...because they BOTH play in VERY weak divisions. Same with Tennessee. They still won't get past the Patriots.robj55;1114862 wrote:Agreed with that, but Miami has the most complete team, we have been a qb away for years now. Weapons on offense, young and solid defense, pro bowl kicker.
