This...and I can't believe he even tried to go back. Unless he thought they were getting a slap on the wrist and turned out they were getting the hammer.

He probably didnt get the type of extension and raise he was expecting from Oregon to try and keep him now that he was wanted by NFL teams.

Eagles go 0-16 next year. Book it!!!

I wonder if they keep Mike Vick now?

I wouldn't be surprised. I don't think Chip's offense will work in a league full of speed.

Nick Foles definitely aint Chip Kelly's guy. Wonder where he'll end up: KC, Arizona, Cleveland, Oakland, Dallas?

I would think so....or someone similar.

As a Cleveland fan, I was pretty happy that he didn't end up with the Browns because I don't think his style will work.

Maybe for the short term, if that's what Vick wants to do. With his age and injury history, I can't see him surviving in a Kelly-style offense for any real length of time; but he'd be a decent stop-gap until he can get a younger mobile quarterback.

    OhShitHereComesTeebow!

    lol...just kidding.

Oregon is probably about to get hit pretty hard I'd assume. Maybe now McCoy's talent won't go to waste and he will actually get the ball more.
  • Rotinaj
I think maclin djax and McCoy are going to dominate in Kelly's offense.
  • gport_tennis
Of qbs in the league or draft who best fits his offensive
  • Commander of Awesome
Also Wes, he's a POS. Which I don't want on the BRowns.

Geno could probably run the offense, out of guys they could draft.

I was bant so I didn't get a chance to comment, but:

-Whoever that safety was for the Bronco should be shot. What a fucking idiot. There was no reason to have allow the WR get behind him. He tried to be a hero by making a play at the ball. At the very worst, he plays the WR and the clock runs to probably 10 seconds since the Ravens have no timeouts. Also Fox is a ***** for taking a knee. 35 Seconds with two time outs to get in FG range with Peyton Manning... What a joke.

-As for the HOF finalists. All the first ballot guys should get in. Parcells and Cris Carter are the other two who should get in. If those six guys aren't in, the HOF has lost all credibility imo.

    -LOL at the Bears hire.

I wouldn't even call Geno Smith a "dual threat" QB. I'm not saying he couldn't handle that offense, he just didn't run much while at WVU.

    lol...so is Byron Leftwich.

Kelly would see Vick as being expendable. End of his career.....get what ya can outta him until you draft the guy ya want.

I can't believe how the read option, hurry up, and spread has made it's way to the NFL in recent years.

I remember a back when Dallas tried to run the option with Quincy Carter and it failed miserably. I went along with the pundits and didn't think it would ever work. I guess it's here to stay. You still can't focus you're entire offense around it, but throwing it in there has shown to be very effective. On the bad side, it opens up your QB to injury.

It has evolved from the QC days. Many QBs are running in from HS to college and up and getting it perfected. It does leave your QB up to taking more hits and I imagine once the defenses get quicker up to speed they will force the QB to run it more and take more hits. It wont be a focal point like in HS or college, but it will stick around alot longer than the wildcat did. A couple of huge injuries like the one RGIII will slow it down even if the injuries dont happen on those plays. If QBs, mainly franchise QB's, start to get big time injuries they will try to limit the amount of hits he gets and slow the growth of those plays.
