After this.....Peyton and AP are well ahead of everyone now for MVP.

I think Aaron Rodgers is still in the discussion too.

Most wide open NFL season I can remember in a while as far as a definitive Super Bowl favorite.

Seems like it changes weekly anymore, as there are about 6-8 teams I could legitimately see winning it.

He's been working his way up for weeks.....a distant 3rd or barely 4th to Brady IMO

But it's the Patriots! They beat Houston 42-14! According to ESPN no other team in the league was close  Seriously though, thank god for Merrill Hoge, who brought up what I was screaming at the TV, this is a team who got absolutely torched by Detroit and Jacksonville. Houston isn't very good against high passing teams and NE is a terrible matchup for them.

I do think though the 49ers and Falcons are the two best teams in the NFL, wouldn't be shocked to see them and NE/DEN in the Final 4

6 is the number in my head but I've been wrong about everything the past two weeks.

Peyton will get the votes over A-Rod, but when it's all said and done, their numbers (and team's record) will be pretty comparable.

Given the OL problems, the terrible running game and injuries to Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings and Donald Driver, all at different times, makes Rodgers pretty underrated in-terms of what he's done.

I don't disagree....just saying how the votes will go.

Atlanta and Houston still need to prove they can do it in the playoffs.

Amazingly, you're right. Very poor job by SF there. Even if you punt, you gotta drain more than 30 seconds off the clock...the more possessions, the greater threat NE becomes.

Over.....SF forces turnovers everywhere and Pats receivers are a little timid looking.
