I came out of the gym today to a text from my buddy saying "what do you think of Cam Cameron?" I said I didn't really care for him and then receive a text from a Ravens' rep saying he was canned. It should be interesting to see what changes in the last 3 weeks.killer_ewok;1339723 wrote:The Ravens fired OC Cam Cameron. Jim Caldwell, who is their QB coach in B-more, will now assume the playcalling duties. Interesting with 3 weeks left in the season... -
Pick6Dez Bryant probably done for season to get surgery on a finger smh
-
Commander of AwesomeBoohoo my finger hurts. SMH, meanwhile other players will cut the finger off to play. Sounds like a total Paycheck Hillis to me.
-
Pick6
tell me about it. I know of a HS kid (happens to be going to UM for football) this season who played half of a game with the edge of his finger cut off in the regional final, and because of it cannot get it repaired.Commander of Awesome;1340030 wrote:Boohoo my finger hurts. That is foolish. W
The cowboys want him for the long haul. Why damage his career for a team that may or may not make the playoffs this year. If he can't catch the ball because of a a finger do you want him on the field? -

Ironman92Looks like Belichick got a new sweatshirt to rake leaves in.
I love how he just says FU to Goodell -

killer_ewokJust saw video from yesterday's Panthers-Falcons game where Carolina's Greg Hardy did his best Matty Ice impression by telling the Falcons "get the fuck off our field" after the game yesterday. Atlanta kicker Matt Bryant responded by saying,"Enjoy watching us in January."
Greatness.

wildcats20So all of the bounty suspensions were reversed today by old commish Paul Tagliabue.
He basically put the blame on the coaches and the organization. -

NFL Considering Expansion Of Playoffs
Dec 12, 2012 7:14 PM EST
The NFL is considering expanding the playoffs from its current number of 12.
"Right now we're with 12 teams obviously. We'll look at probably 14 or 16 teams," Goodell said.
A 16-team playoff would mean half of the teams in the NFL would qualify for the playoffs, making the regular season less meaningful.

sleeper12 is fine. 14 or 16 is stupid.
-
Gblock
horrible idea..these extra two teams would most likely be 8-8 you shouldnt make the playoffs at 8-8 unless you win your division imo...if they need money that bad i would rather see them add two games to the regular season.Commander of Awesome;1341792 wrote:Idiot Goodell

Raw Dawgin' itnext thing you know it'll be a 32 game season and teams will be playing twice a week.
-
dazedconfusedhopefully this is just a ploy to get people to stop talking about how badly goodell and the nfl handled the bounty stuff. more playoff teams is just stupid
-

And he'll be fining players for more and more things because of how "important" player safety is.Raw Dawgin' it;1341890 wrote:next thing you know it'll be a 32 game season and teams will be playing twice a week. -
Raw Dawgin' itThe guys volunteer to play - they know what they're getting into.

If they do this, it should be 14, so at least one team has a bye. I am against it though. I think 12 is the perfect number. It keeps most teams playing hard until the end of the season. We have already seen a 7-9 and plenty of 8-8 teams in the playoffs. Changing to 16 we will see more of that.Commander of Awesome;1341792 wrote:Idiot Goodell

Yeah. I just don't understand why people want to dilute playoffs like that. I mean, it's dumb as fuck in the NBA/NHL when a team with a sub-.500 record gets in as the 7th/8th seed in their conference. I don't want the NFL to join that crowd.like_that;1341935 wrote:If they do this, it should be 14, so at least one team has a bye. I am against it though. I think 12 is the perfect number. At least in the NHL an 8 seed tends to fare much better than in the NBA. It's always a blowout in the NBA (which is why they need to return the first round to best of 5 and keep things moving IMO) -
Commander of Awesomets, I give you #1 Dallas Mavs losing the series 4-2 to the GSW.
