bigdaddy2003I was shocked when I just read Babin was released.
-
gorocks99Wow, surprised to see Babin released as well. Would not be surprised if New Orleans picks him up but I'm not sure he'll last that long.

He's leading the team in sacks. Wtf? -
bigdaddy2003I'd love the Ravens to grab him but there is no way a team won't grab him off waivers.
-
BR1986FB
The teams that he fits the best are the Lions & Bengals because they both run wide 9's but I don't see either of them putting in a claim.bigdaddy2003;1330898 wrote:I'd love the Ravens to grab him but there is no way a team won't grab him off waivers.
He might fit nice as a situational pass rusher, opposite of Suggs, in Baltimore but not an every down (doesn't fit scheme) player.
If I had to bet, I'm going with New England claiming him and eating the contract. This smells of a Belichick reclamation project (troubled player/change of scenery). -

bigdaddy2003Poor old Babin. He gets cut from Philly and Jacksonville claims him off waivers.
-
RotinajThis may be a stupid question but what is the reason behind a player not being able to go wherever he wants if he's released?
-
