NFC Wild Card Game - (6) Detroit Lions at (3) New Orleans Saints
-
Tiger2003No catch
-
Nonno TD but personal foul
only 16 seconds left -
Tiger2003Pretty weak personal foul as well.
-
tk421that's a weak personal foul, I agree.
-
Nonyeah a sack or tackle in bounds and it will be tough to stop the clock
they'll stop it but will be down to one play, a FG -
Nonkeep getting interference if the guy gets open
-
Non8 seconds
one more pass to the end zone -
NonLions should interfere if the receiver gets free
-
Nonbig stop
Lions will lead at the half -
Tiger2003Saints get ball to start the 2nd half right?
-
Nonyep, Saints ball
-
tk421I like Costas' halftime ideas. Don't know why you need all the complexity, just play another 10-15 minutes and whomever is ahead at the end wins.
-
Tiger2003Hey I was right! The whistle did blow and should have been the Saints ball.
-
gorocks99Meachem f'ed that up.
-
Tiger2003Great hands.
-
Tiger2003Brees is missing Moore.
-
Tiger2003Game over.
-
NonI'd be ok with that. I like the drama of the game ending on the final play and I think the NFL does, too.
But that is the better way to go to keep it more like the regular game. -
NonBig play but this is going to be a fun second half.
Buckle up. -
tk421Even with the rule change, whoever wins the coin flip has the odds to win the game, all they need is a TD.

The Ravens maybe. The Steelers have no running game(unless Redman/Moore have a breakout post season), a banged up QB, lost their starting center and have nowhere near the secondary to hang with GB/NONon;1042411 wrote:Steelers are probably too banged up this year but they have a glimmer of hope and here's why:
Mendenhall getting hurt.
I'm just going to say that there's a chance that Redman is better suited for the playoffs because of the way he runs between the tackles and picks up hidden yards. If he can run hard and get the offensive line pumped up to block for him, they'll be more balanced. And then if they make it to the Super Bowl, they'll have the balanced offense with more ball control to go along with the defense. Unlikely but there's a chance.
Edit:Moore's out too, Forgot -
tk421how was that not a face mask? Almost took his head off.

Steelers secondary has played pretty well this year. I don't think they'll get torched for 40-50 points, probably around 31.Hb31187;1042529 wrote:The Ravens maybe. Steelers have the talent offensively to compete in a game like that, as they did in the Super Bowl last year.
Redman is the key. If he has a good postseason, they're going to be more like the Steelers of old where they lean on the run more and control the ball and Ben will not have to do quite as much. -

Didn't grab the helmet. He was under the helmet. -

If Ben was Healthy, Pouncey was healthy and you had a full stable of RBs like usual Id agree. I could be wrong, but I just dont see the Steelers competing right now with how banged up they are.Non;1042533 wrote:Steelers secondary has played pretty well this year. I do fully expect them to destroy Denver though
