I'm complaining about waiters because that's an awful fucking pick at 4, and zeller is another fucking hustle player with an extremely low ceiling.Midstate01;1214611 wrote:Guys.. Complaining about losing second round picks?? C'mon now. They rarely make an impact. -
wes_mantoothMidstate01;1214620 wrote:Oh and anyone still complaining about TT last year at #4 is stupid. TT is going to be a very good player!!! He was a great pick!
Jury definitely still out on him.
Anyhow, zeller and Drummond are the only two players I didn't want the cavs to get.
As for waiters.....his camp did a hell of a job selling him....props -

Agreed except on Varejao. His days are numbered, especially if they get value for him.Commander of Awesome;1214612 wrote:Wow I actually like the draft. We got an atheletic legit SG who can flat out score and defend, and a nice young legit 7' to play the center position. Pretty good draft IMO. And I think Varejao stays. Cavs love him, fans love him, and ALWAYS need bigs in the NBA. -
robj55I didn't see Waiters play a ton but he seems like he needs to be a ball dominant player to be effective, anyone watch him play a lot this past year?
-
hoops23And lol at people still complaining about T2. My god.
-
KR1245Waiters probably wasnt getting past 7 or 8 at the latest. He really wasnt that much of a reach

Nowhere near worth a #4 pick. Not going to change my opinion based on an average at best season. Sorry for bringing up a recent draft pick on draft night. Enough with the fucking unskilled work ethic guys. That was my only hesitation with mkg.hoops23;1214634 wrote:And lol at people still complaining about T2. My god. -

Last year was such a weak draft. Who else would you have expected them to take?Mulva;1214649 wrote:Nowhere near worth a #4 pick. Not going to change my opinion based on an average at best season. robj55T2 is a nice player but way overrated on this board. He is a nice piece to have moving forward though.
-
hoops23T2 is a raw big man who is an athletic shot blocking freak. He's also a very good 1-on-1 defender. He didn't have a training camp to truly work on anything. He showed great willingness to learn and work on his game as evident by his improved FT shooting.
Judge him by the next couple of seasons. The dude has crazy potential
The people that bitch about anything are obvious. -
Midstate01Nobody expected TT to be a star. He was a great pick at 4 because there weren't many GREAT players in last years draft. And he fit a big need.
-

He wanted us to trade that pick for a pick in this draft so he could bitch about that pick then this year.Pick6;1214652 wrote:Last year was such a weak draft. Who else would you have expected them to take? -
thedynasty1998Didn't see much of Waiters, but a lot of teams seemed to be high on him.
The Zeller pick is a great pick! It's a position of need and Zeller has a defined role in the NBA. He will be great in the pick and roll and can run the floor. With the roster the Cavs are building, they are going to be a fast paced team and Zeller can beat most centers down the court.
I actually liken Zeller to Bosh's role with Miami. Bosh is more athletic, but Zeller can be a similar type of player.
And who cares about the 2nd round picks. This isn't the NFL. -
KR1245TT had 8 and 6 in about 20 minutes a game. Let the kid get some experience and some more minutes

robj55Didn't Sullinger absolutely destroy T2 when they were in high school?

I dont know. And that would carry over to the MBA how!?? -

Nba. Bastard auto correct -

I didn't mean it like that, just couldn't recall if that was him or someone else, for Findlay Prep. I like T2 as a rotational player, but he is overrated by Cav's fans mostly.Midstate01;1214671 wrote:I dont know. And that would carry over to the MBA how!?? -

Something tells me that if he played for the Heat you would think he could be an all-starrobj55;1214673 wrote:I didn't mean it like that, just couldn't recall if that was him or someone else, for Findlay Prep. I like T2 as a rotational player, but he is overrated by Cav's fans mostly. -

Eh, most knew he is a project, but the draft was weak -
robj55
Strong argument there, I said I liked him as a rotational player, but he is most definitely overrated on here. Not to say he isn't a nice piece going forward.KR1245;1214677 wrote:Something tells me that if he played for the Heat you would think he could be an all-star -

Lol. One game doesn't mean much, does it. T2 destroyed people as well.robj55;1214668 wrote:Didn't Sullinger absolutely destroy T2 when they were in high school?
And T2 had a solid game against Sully as well. -
robj55
I agree with that.wes_mantooth;1214678 wrote:Eh, most knew he is a project, but the draft was weak -

Don't get all defensive, I would probably rather have T2 than an injured Sully going forward.hoops23;1214681 wrote:Lol. One game doesn't mean much, does it. T2 destroyed people as well.

hoops23And how is T2 overrated on here? Just because some of us liked the pick doesn't mean we're labeling him an all star lol.
He's got nice potential and will be a rotational player at the very worst.
