KR1245Good win. Kyrie probably finishes with 20 and 10 if he plays the 4th, I'll gladly take 14 and 7
Best part about this game was that I didn't have to look at Ryan Hollins -

Nah. I was just saying I wasn't sure why you were surprised that Detroit Pistons crew was wildly pro-Detroit when your own team's crew isn't exactly objective -

hoops23Kyrie 14pts 7asts 4rebs on 5/9 shooting in 19 mins.
Thompson had 10pts 4rebs and 2 blocks in 25 minutes, and really displayed an ability to finish with both hands. His defense is great.
Samardo is >>>>>> Hollins. Samuels continues to win me over. -

Oh, they'll lose plenty, but they'll be kinda fun to watch in the process. They don't have any stars right now, but they have quite a few good players.ohiobucks1;1029696 wrote:We need to keep losing lol -
WooballLike many others have stated, this team will be infinitely more exciting to watch than last years team despite the fact they are still going to lose quite often. Through 2 games Irving and Thompson look like guys that can be parts of a solid core. I've thought even from last year that Samuels is a guy that could stick in this league as a rotational big that could score the basketball. He's physical, doesn't back down from anyone, and can hit that 15-18' jumper. If Sessions continues to knock down the 3 ball he has a chance to be a terrific asset. Last year most of us were just waiting for the end of the season to get to the draft. I'm still excited for the '12 draft and free agency period for the Cavs, but I will enjoy watching this season and see how some of these guys develop.

Mr. RussellSamardo is better than Hollins and he is even playing better than Andy right now, even looking at the preseason. Idk what Scott's problem is with him, but watching the game last night reminded me of some of the dumb comments he made about Samardo last year. He should have a spot cemented in the rotation, yet I bet that we haven't seen the last of Hollins.

Commander of AwesomeAnderson Varejao played very well last night, I dont agree that Samardo is playing better. Can't just look at the stat sheet.

I agree with this. Samardo played well last night but Andy is still the best big man on this team.Commander of Awesome;1030122 wrote:Anderson Varejao played very well last night, I dont agree that Samardo is playing better. Can't just look at the stat sheet. -

He thinks Samardo needs to lose some weight and hes probably right. I like the way that Samardo is playing but the dude could probably afford to drop 10-20 lbsMr. Russell;1029991 wrote:Samardo is better than Hollins and he is even playing better than Andy right now, even looking at the preseason. Mr. RussellCan Andy score at all? I love Andy, but seriously. How many lay-ups does he has to miss? Also, you guys can't tell me he hasn't lost some spring in those legs...

Yes. Before the game Byron was asked about Samardo and he basically said "Samardo took the lockout kinda hard and got a bit out of shape"KR1245;1030148 wrote:He thinks Samardo needs to lose some weight and hes probably right. Basically, Byron wants Samardo to drop weight and add muscle. -

I saw that. "Took the lockout hard." WTF kind of an excuse is that to gain weight. lolfail on Samardo.hoops23;1030352 wrote:Yes. Before the game Byron was asked about Samardo and he basically said "Samardo took the lockout kinda hard and got a bit out of shape"

hoops23I could picture Samardo with his head down pouting while eating a big Mac and hot fudge Sunday.

Mr. RussellIf he is that out of shape, I can't wait to see what Scott's excuse is when he is in shape.

Hb31187Havent watched much of the Cavs this year, how does TT look? He have any post game? or is he kinda a garbage man right now scoring off putbacks and dunks?
-
Mulva
Mostly dunks. He used his right pretty nicely against Detroit though. A couple of soft hooks in the paint.Hb31187;1030664 wrote:Havent watched much of the Cavs this year, how does TT look? He have any post game? or is he kinda a garbage man right now scoring off putbacks and dunks? -

As Mulva said, it's been a lot of dunking thus far, but not really "garbage dunks." all the time. He's received the ball a couple of times along the baseline, made a nice dribble, and powered it in.Hb31187;1030664 wrote:Havent watched much of the Cavs this year, how does TT look? He's really shined on defense though. He can get up and quickly. He blocked a shot against Detroit and his hand was literally above the square on the backboard. He also showed some nice post moves against Detroit. Showed an ability to finish with both hands and has some nice hook moves to go to.
He's raw offensively, but he's definitely got A LOT of potential. -
Mr. RussellTT has definitely been impressive defensively.
