Week 15: Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) at San Francisco 49ers (10-3)
-
NonI'm thinking the Steelers are going to clinch at least the No. 5 seed
based on what is happening today -
NonJust need a Baltimore loss and the Steelers will control their destiny not only in the division but for home field advantage.
-
Ironman92Non....would you rather have the #1 seed with a banged up Ben, Pouncey and Woodley or the #5 seed but healthy (Ben, Pouncey, Woodley....and all studs)
-
Non
Tough one. I'll say banged up and home field is better. There would be time to get somewhat healthier.Ironman92;1019442 wrote:Non....would you rather have the #1 seed with a banged up Ben, Pouncey and Woodley or the #5 seed but healthy (Ben, Pouncey, Woodley....and all studs)
I think they can win at Denver and then maybe an upset in the divisional round...but not another road win in the AFC Championship.
Best chance is the home route. -
Ironman92Fair enough
-
NonYES!!!...YES!!!...YES!!!...YES!!!
COME ON STEELERS!
STEP UP AND TAKE THE DIVISION! -
bigdaddy2003I'm thinking the 49ers win in a close one. Something like 17 - 14.

Won't happen. This is ALL set up for the Drama Queen with his "injury" to rise up from the ashes like a Phoenix, play tonight and take the Steelers to victory to further add to his "legend." I called the same thing last Thursday when he went down with this "injury." I knew he'd be back for the second half.:rolleyes:bigdaddy2003;1020051 wrote:I'm thinking the 49ers win in a close one. I think tonight could go either way. I haven't watched whole lot of San Fran, and the only full game I watched was against Baltimore when they looked like mud.
I just want no further injuries. -
NonI think it will be a tough, low scoring game.
Hopefully the difference is at QB. -

Come on now. It looked bad...real bad...when he got hit like that in the Thursday night game. There's no faking that. Fortunately it wasn't as bad as it looked. Still, I can see how he was in a ton of pain.
Just saw that Ben is a game time decision for tonight. -

He'll play. We ALL know it.killer_ewok;1020151 wrote:Just saw that Ben is a game time decision for tonight. -
NonWin this one and only two more road trips.
at Cleveland
and Indianapolis! -
bigdaddy2003Ben may play but I'm still taking the 49ers.

He very well may play. That doesn't mean that the injury that he sustained wasn't legit. -

Oh please...everyone knows he milks this shit and is a certified drama queen.killer_ewok;1020184 wrote:He very well may play. That doesn't mean that the injury that he sustained wasn't legit. -

Truth...since he was in trouble with the poon, he's winced and limped around for sympathy every damn time he gets a nick, then comes back in acting like a damn hero.BR1986FB;1020186 wrote:Oh please...everyone knows he milks this shit and is a certified drama queen. -

Exactly. As soon as he started gimping around in that game versus the Browns I told my girlfriend at halftime..."I guarantee he comes back in the second half, plays the "hero" and they win." It's his M.O. Any "boo boo" he gets he makes sure is magnified tenfold.ytownfootball;1020191 wrote:Truth...since he was in trouble with the poon, he's winced and limped around for sympathy every damn time he gets a nick, then comes back in acting like a damn hero.
A "high ankle sprain" is an injury which puts a person on the self 3-6 weeks. -

NonHe's on pace to be the most sacked QB of all time.
If you look at a lot of the big hits he takes and plays where he's scrambling and trying to get out of the grasp of pass rushers, most QBs would not hold up.
He does add some drama to it but even with that, he's the toughest QB in the NFL. -

Give me some other comparable situations where he "milked an injury."BR1986FB;1020193 wrote:Exactly. Wasn't it a few years ago that Whines Hard questioned Roethlisberger's "toughness" for sitting out a game?Automatik;1020201 wrote:Give me some other comparable situations where he "milked an injury."
I'm not saying the guy isn't tough, because he is (and pretty durable), but he makes SURE that EVERYBODY knows when he gets a boo boo. Doesn't mean he's not a talented QB. He just eats up the attention, that's all. -
HereticSo, what's better when it comes to QB Drama Queening: getting hurt, coming back and being the hero OR getting hurt, coming back, throwing a pick and having daddy cry to the press about how the big, bad team didn't pay enough attention to concussion histories because his widdle boo-boo ponykins shouldn't have been sent back out?
A bit nervous about things, with Ben at below 100 percent, Harrison out and other guys banged up all over the place (is Woodley playing or not?...haven't heard much on that front recently with all the other stuff). If Baltimore won, I think the team would have just decided to settle for the #5 seed and hope that Denver makes it to the end of the year in first place, so they have a reasonably easy first-round game. But with Baltimore losing, they have a shot at the #1 seed, first-round bye and home field throughout. With the current health situation, they could wind up completely decimated by the postseason if things continue like they are.
