dazedconfusedelton brand was pretty good before the knee injuries.

Commander of AwesomeBoozer only plays one way though. He's TERRIBLE on defense. And to top it off you count on him to miss at least 20 games a year. No thanks.

Hb31187Yeah Dookies dont really pan out to become stars in the NBA. Irving though I think has the right type of game to be a star in the NBA. Also Jay Williams woulda been a star if he didnt fuck himself up lol

I agree about Jay Williams. I thought he had great potential. -
Commander of AwesomeI wonder if the Cavs will trade Jamison, Davis, or Sessions. Any theories?

According to an ESPN insider article, there is a good chance Jamison and Davis will be moved.Commander of Awesome;996492 wrote:I wonder if the Cavs will trade Jamison, Davis, or Sessions. Any theories? -
Commander of AwesomeI dont see a trade market for Davis, but I could def see a contender going after Jamison. Perhaps a team like the spurs.

-
Commander of AwesomeWhat do you mean "gonna happen"? Its in the deal, whether or not a team uses it remains to be seen.

Commander of AwesomeAinge Believes Rondo Should Be Flattered By Trade Rumors
Dec 02, 2011 1:37 AM EST
“If you’re worth your salt, you’ll be mentioned in a trade rumor somewhere along the line,’’ Ainge said. “That’s just part of the business that players have to learn to deal with.
“We love our players, and I think our players know that. I’ll talk to Rondo. Rondo knows that we love him. He knows that we like him and he’s excited to come back and play basketball.
“He gets a lot of attention. He’s a great player. There’s a lot of people who call me and ask me about Rondo.’’
Rondo was mentioned in trade rumors for Chris Paul.
“I’m not going to compare him to the other guys but I think he is one of the top point guards in the NBA,’’ said Celtics coach Doc Rivers. “I think Rondo has established that.
“Listen, there’s a reason whenever this thing leaked out that it was all over the news - it’s because the players that were both talked about were really good.
“Rondo has established that through his play. He is a great basketball player and does so many things for our team, he should be flattered in a lot of ways that this is news.’’

Yeah. I'd look at Boozer as a decent support player, but he's kinda become more of a journeyman than a star caliber kind of guy due to injuries and the lack of defense.Commander of Awesome;995878 wrote:Boozer only plays one way though. Lol. "We're shopping the guy, but if things don't work and we have to keep him, he should be flattered that we looked at him as being on the same level as other good players!"Commander of Awesome;997544 wrote:Ainge Believes Rondo Should Be Flattered By Trade Rumors

I guess it will work if Rondo's especially vulnerable to Jedi Mind Tricks. -

Commander of Awesome[h=3]Rose Won't Recruit Free Agents[/h]Dec 02, 2011 10:03 AM EST Derrick Rose didn't recruit LeBron James or Dwyane Wade during the summer of 2010, so it shouldn't be a surprise that he's not reaching out to free agents now.
"I'm fine with my teammates," Rose said Thursday. "If they choose to [go after another scorer] that's up to them. But my teammates that I have right now, I'm fine with them."
Rose said he has heard from several players throughout the league who want to play in Chicago.
"I know there are a lot of people that want to play here," he said. "Just being that Chicago is a great market, a great city to live in. The fans are great. We have the No. 1 fans in the world.
"But it's not up to me, it's up to [the players] to make that decision, meet with [executive vice president] John [Paxson] and them, [general manager] Gar [Forman] and them, and see what they're going to do."

The source said that the team reached out to Valanciunas' agent over the weekend to gauge the center's interest in joining the Raptors in 2011-12.
If Valanciunas has interest, the Toronto would have to work out a buyout with his team in Lithuania, Lietuvos Rytas.

Looks like he might play this season after all. Just makes the Cavs 2nd selection of thompson seem even more like a reach.

I wonder when Arenas and Rashard Lewis will join him at the Citgo? -
Commander of Awesome
Yes more than likely. From what I've read Lewis won't be amnesty bc the front office had to convince the owner to give him that big contract, then ask him to turn around, cut him (while still paying him) then pay another player to take his roster spot. I could see where the owner would be pissed about having to do that. I could see it if they were a legit contender but I don't think they are, and not sure who they could pick up to replace him.jordo212000;1002874 wrote:Is that an amnesty move?

Commander of Awesome[h=3]Deron: 90 Percent Chance Of Re-Signing With Nets[/h]Dec 05, 2011 12:27 PM EST During an appearance on WFAN, Deron Williams said it is a 90 percent chance he'll re-sign with the Nets
Williams also said that a move to the Knicks via free agency is "very unlikely".
Williams can become a free agent in the summer of 2012 and the Nets are attempting to improve their roster to retain him. -
sportswizuhrdCavs got an extension on the trade exception they recieved from Miami, but of course they are going to let it expire. SMH.

wildcats20So according to Mike and Mike, the Lakers are willing to trade anyone except Kobe to get CP3 and Dwight.
