Roush front row. Jack Roush Jr got 2nd in qualifying for today's race, Billy will drive anchor and bring it into victory lane.
Reba's son Shelby Blackstock, also in a Roush Boss 302R Mustang, got the POLE. They were a happy bunch after quals. Rained a little during the night, perfect because it knocks the dust down in the infield. We had no rain for a couple weeks.

This team from Italy painted their car to honor Gianpiero Moretti, who passed away less than 2 weeks ago.

I got to chat with Patrick Dempsey again yesterday. He is in this brand new Aston Martin today. There was a giant crowd looking for him at his other car, lol. I didn't even know he was in this one too. The 55 was the only Aston Martin at testing a few weeks ago.

My girlfriend just told me about Ward. She said he is coming back to help Jeb get started. Her & Ward's families grew up together in SoBo.

My day was great! Billy won!!

Pataskala's Mike Shank got 1st and 3rd in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. AJ Allmendinger stayed in the car for about the last 3 hours and won the race today! He was one of 4 drivers in the #60 with Oz Negri, John Pew, and Justin Wilson. #6 was Michael McDowell, Felipe Nasr, Jorge Goncalvez, and Gustavo Yacaman. Awesome day, chamber of commerce weather, saw a good friend I haven't seen in 10 years. Ford swept the podium in DP, Porsche swept the podium in GT.
This is better than any nascar race, they need to make the July event here a road course race. That will fix the two car drafting.

The UNOH UMP Modified team will invade Volusia with 32 students
UNOH’s army of student mechanics at Volusia will include Kody Weisner of Muskegon, Mich., Chris Puskas of Somerset, N.J., Travis Fleshman of West Union, Ohio, and Josh Ulrich of Gettysburg, Pa. – a quartet that will not only work on the University-built UMP Modifieds, but drive them as well. The balance of the team members will crew the UNOH-prepared cars, but Wallace, Schrader, the Dillon brothers (the grandsons of famed NASCAR team owner Richard Childress) and reigning Limaland Speedway UMP Modified champion Todd Sherman of Churubusco, Ind., who will enter the ninth UNOH-affiliated car, will also have students assigned to assist their efforts.

Kurt is then signed by Phoenix Racing to drive the #51 Chevrolet with Nick Harrison serving as his Crew Chief.
Best Buy jumps sponsorship from RPM to RFR since there isn't a driver for the #43 car. Aric Almirola is later named the driver of the #43 STP/Smithfield Food's Ford.

In a wild finish Ben Kennedy gave up the bottom off turn two and Kyle Larson worked him hard and went door-to-door to sneak by off turn four to win the Pete Orr Orange Blossom 100 at New Smyrna Speedway tonite.
It was the 19 yr old Californian's first start on asphalt. Kennedy, Bill France Jr's grandson, led the first 99 laps. Didn't matter, his left side weight was 0.3% too much in post race tech, and his Bill Elliott Motorsports car was DQ'd. Mike Skinner finished 12th.

Considering he's only driving in 25 races, I'm gonna say no. But I think Bowyer will get it done.

I saw where Kelly Earnhardt is currently in labor with the newest Earnhardt, Wyatt.

I bet he wins a race before Jr. wins another one. :D
