Gardens35Kurt Busch gets fined $50 Grand......http://www.cbssports.com/nascar/story/16238475/nascar-fines-kurt-busch-50k-for-improper-behavior-at-homestead

j_crazyGood that was a Dick move.
-
GoChiefsAs expected, Addington named the new crew chief for Tony Stewart. Still don't see why you would break up a Championship team though.
-
GoChiefsRumor going around is that Kurt Busch will be fired from Penske Racing. Nobody out there with his credentials to replace him though. Who is there? Vickers, Reutty, Ragan, and Mears? I'd expect one of them to be signed for a one year contract if this is at all true.

Gardens35More from Kurt Busch right here.....http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/racing/12/01/kurt-busch-psychologist.ap/index.html?sct=hp_t2_a15

GoChiefsBeen seeing the psychologists for 2 months?? It's clearly working.

GoJPM!Penske finally fires Kurt Busch.

GoChiefsNot surprising. Seen it coming after hearing Penske's interview after Homestead.
-
said_aouitaPenske has had the two largest D-bags in NASCAR, Brad Keselowski and Kurt Busch.
-
voewoodyBrad K is at least coming in 3rd in the D-Bag race... Busch Brothers definitely take a 1-2 finish in that race.
-
GoChiefsI'll take a winning d-bag driver over a most popular meaty oaker driver all day long though.
-
voewoodyIf you were a team owner you would be in the minority...
-
GoChiefsI'm not so sure about though. Successful team owners care about one thing and one thing only, winning. Most popular would make them money, but obviously they don't need it if they have a winning program at the Sprint Cup level. Winning races will bring them enough cash.
-
GoChiefsRagan was released this morning from Roush Racing to pursue other opportunities. He was still under contract through the end of 2012, so I'd say he's the replacement for the #22. Then again, Ragan has done nothing, and Keselowski has at least won some races. When Shell signed up to sponsor the 22 car, a good driver was a demand of theirs. So maybe Brad will switch to the #22 and Ragan will drive the #2 Miller Lite Dodge.

No way. Everyone hates Kyle for some reason....I don't get it.voewoody;1002430 wrote:Brad K is at least coming in 3rd in the D-Bag race... Busch Brothers definitely take a 1-2 finish in that race.
Being so fake puts Kurt way ahead of Kyle, imo. -

SpeedofsandDavid Reutimann is the best available driver. He is great with sponsors and is a genuine humble guy. He won a race in 2009 & 2010. His charity cookout and golf tourney is this weekend in Zephyrhills. Penske should hire him.

There really isn't any options that are even somewhat appealing. Maybe he sits out in 2012? Unless some team bumps a driver from their lineup, I just don't see him accepting or getting any rides at any of these available teams unless Red Bull finds a way to stay alive.j_crazy;1002909 wrote:Where will Kurt go?
#4 @ Red Bull Racing...if they can find investors to keep the team running
#6 @ Roush Fenway...yeah...that's not happening
#9 @ Richard Petty Motorsports...depending on Ambrose's future
#34 @ Front Row Motorsports...Gilliland isn't signed for the 2012 season
#32 @ FAS Lane Racing...who?
#33 @ Richard Childress Racing...said to be going from full time to part time to get Austin Dillon some Cup experience.
#36 @ Tommy Baldwin Racing...start and park team in 2011
#38 @ Front Row Motorsports...neither Kvapil or Yeley has resigned for 2012
#51 @ James Finch Phoenix Racing...split time with Landon Cassill and Bill Elliot in 2011
#66 @ HP Racing...start and parker in 2011
#71 @ TGR Motorsports...Rookie Of The Year Andy Lally left the team to go back to the Grand Am Series before Homestead...no driver for 2012 yet.
#83 @ Red Bull Racing...again...all depends on finding investors -
GoJPM!I'd put Hornish in the 22. Deserves a second chance, imo.
