shook_17i really don't think we win this game. its sad. i think steven jackson runs wild.
-
Commander of AwesomeI just SMH at Hillis. I'm mad at myself for even thinking something good like Hillis would turn out to be legit.

Blame it on the Madden video game cover.Commander of Awesome;962593 wrote:I just SMH at Hillis. I'm mad at myself for even thinking something good like Hillis would turn out to be legit. -
Commander of AwesomeOh I do, Madden combined with the Cleveland curse for the mega pwn.
-
like_thatI was hoping the 2 curses would cancel each other out.

A life of watching horror movies has taught me that curses NEVER cancel each other out...they just magnify to destroy everything. I think that was the plot of virtually every supernatural Japanese film ever.like_that;963112 wrote:I was hoping the 2 curses would cancel each other out. -

Well thanks for telling me this before the season started asshole!Heretic;963135 wrote:A life of watching horror movies has taught me that curses NEVER cancel each other out...they just magnify to destroy everything. I think that was the plot of virtually every supernatural Japanese film ever. -

Another rule of horror films is that if there is anyone who knows what's happening, they never say it until it's too late to help anyone (except maybe the token survivor).like_that;963137 wrote:Well thanks for telling me this before the season started asshole! -
Commander of Awesomeor no one listens to them because they're crazy.

Very true. Crazy Ralph syndrome. You go walking around with a nickname like that and no one pays attention when you talk about the scary motherfucker killing kids around Crystal Lake.Commander of Awesome;963150 wrote:or no one listens to them because they're crazy. -
DeyDurkie5browns lose

ts1227Anyone giving away tickets yet? That's about the only way I'm willing to go to a game this year.
-
sportchamppsIf the browns had given hills a contract or he would have just held out until he got one both sides would be better off
-
bigdaddy2003I'm not real sure about this game. The D will keep the Browns in it but the offense will continue to struggle. It's a toss up for me.

I'd stand my ground and make them pay YOU to take them.ts1227;963573 wrote:Anyone giving away tickets yet? That's about the only way I'm willing to go to a game this year. -
BR1986FBInteresting...this would be HUGE (Jackson)
Steven Jackson - RB - Rams
Steven Jackson was limited in Rams practice Wednesday with a foot injury.
It's a new injury for Jackson.
MaryKayCabot Mary Kay Cabot
# Browns wr Josh Cribbs on maybe playing in backfield: "they put something special in for me this week."
@ MaryKayCabot: more on # browns wr Josh Cribbs on him possibly in backfiield: "there will be some surprises this week." -
hoops23Jackson better play, he's on my fucking fantasy team.
As far as Cribbs in the backfield, yeah.... It'll either be a couple of generic wildcat handoffs or some basic runs that gain around 4 yards...
If they really want to mix it up, use Cribbs ability to play QB as a weapon. Line him up in the backfield as a run fake, then hopefully he can hit a wide-open WR or some bullshit...
Seriously, this team fucking sucks. -
BR1986FBWell...THIS is THE game, IMO, that determines whether the Browns should continue to move forward with "Checkdown Charlie" as the QB in 2012.
The Rams secondary is so depleted they contacted my 75 year old mom to see if she could play. If McCoy doesn't have the balls to try to stretch the field against single coverage in THIS game, there's no hope. At some point he's got to take chances and throw it down the field in to tight windows and let his receivers try to make plays. So far, he's not done this.
And before some McCoy apologist comes on here to jump on me, YES, I know the O-Line has sucked and Hillis is a major blame for McCoy's poor showing but when McCoy HAS had opportunities he's done himself NO favors proving that he's THE guy moving forward. And yes, he's had opportunities. He hasn't capitalized on them. He needs to be decisive and sling it. Believe it or not, I saw a little of this from him in the Texans game. Hopefully he builds off it. -
Commander of AwesomeIf Jackson is out that'd be huge. I'm not even sure who the back up is, but Jackson is on a tear as of late and I'd rather not watch him carve us up for 104 yds in the first half.
-
Big_Mirg_ZHSCadillac is the backup i have him on three fantasy teams cause steven jackson always gets hurt

All in favor of Ben Roethlisburger on the next cover of Madden, say I!Skyhook79;962618 wrote:Blame it on the Madden video game cover.

The best thing about rape allegations: they really drop the odds of him making the cover! Besides, with Hillis on the cover last year, the Madden people have filled their White Boy Quota for that thing for the next 50 years or so.Commander of Awesome;966831 wrote:All in favor of Ben Roethlisburger on the next cover of Madden, say I!

Commander of AwesomeWell to be fair, Vick was in the running.

True, but that was a popular vote, where you never know what the fuck will happen. Unless that's going to be a yearly Madden thing from now on. I don't know if EA's doing that or if it was a one-time deal.Commander of Awesome;967023 wrote:Well to be fair, Vick was in the running.
