NFL Week 9 - Baltimore Ravens (5-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2)
-
NonI was defending the Ravens on the other thread. Almost forgot they're supposed to lose!
-
DeyDurkie5ravens will continue their dominance of the steelers this year. I say they win by a field goal.
-
bigdaddy2003I too believe the margin of victory will be low. 3 to 7 points or so.

Only in this rivalry. But, yes 3 points can be a sign of dominance. -
TiernanYa think the Steelers are going to remember that "going for 2" call from Sept? Steelmen by 10.

There's that stellar NFL insight again. :laugh:DeyDurkie5;956193 wrote:I will not donate to wounded warrior, so go fuck yourself
In recent years, Pittsburgh has always been able to pressure Flacco and get into his head. That should be the primary concern. Fuck him up, let him that that "oh shit" look early and we should win. -

maybe in recent years..but in THIS season in the first game of the year, they did not and the ravens dominated. I see it being a close game, but I see the ravens bouncing back after 2 terrible weeks and beating the steelers.Automatik;956229 wrote:There's that stellar NFL insight again.

No shit sherlock. That's why I said it should be their goal. When they do pressure him they have success...and they didn't in the first matchup and look at the outcome.DeyDurkie5;956274 wrote:maybe in recent years..but in THIS season in the first game of the year, they did not and the ravens dominated. bigdaddy2003Not that my friends from Pittsburgh represent the fan base as a whole but they keep texting me saying it will be 35 to 7 Pittsburgh this time. Ha
I don't expect Flacco to play as good as he did in the first game but I think he will play good enough along with the defense to stay in the game. Hence why I see it being a close game. -

Yeah. Any game between these two that's not close is more of an outlier than an actual indication of things. The first game was a fluke, not because of who won, but because of the margin. This game will be close; just hoping the good guys win this time.bigdaddy2003;956381 wrote:Not that my friends from Pittsburgh represent the fan base as a whole but they keep texting me saying it will be 35 to 7 Pittsburgh this time. NonIt will be interesting to see how the Steelers defend the Ravens.
As good as Tom Brady is, the Patriots don't have a true downfield passing game right now. Easier to play man-to-man against the Patriots.
Baltimore/Flacco will take quite a few shots. But then again the zone defense got tore up last time with Rice and the tight ends catching passes underneath. -

killer_ewokNow Schefter is reporting that Woodley is definitely out. I keep reading that Harrison will play now. Timmons and Foote inside, Harrison and Carter/Worilds outside.
-
killer_ewokAlso looks like Emmanuel Sanders will miss this game too.

It's starting to look like it'll be easier to list the guys who will be playing...killer_ewok;957329 wrote:Also looks like Emmanuel Sanders will miss this game too. -
dazedconfusedi think only houston stops this from being a preview of the afc championship game. should be a great game!
-
killer_ewokDaniel Sepulveda placed on IR. Jeremy Kapinos signed again to handle the punting duties.
-
GoPensSepulveda is a good punter, when he's not on IR...for the 3rd time in his career. As my mother would say, "he's a fragile as a china doll"
