DeyDurkie5You basically bench Hillis for "stone-hands" hardesty, and you run the worst offense in the nfl. Please kindly go fuck yourself.

I made fun of your for getting a hard on for Jim Harbaugh, because he took an early lead over Oregon last year. Well I take those comments back. I would gladly take Harbaugh over Shurmur any day of the week. The niners talent level is not that much different from the Browns, and Harbaugh has the 49ers competing for the best team in the NFC title right now.DeyDurkie5;935783 wrote:You basically bench Hillis for "stone-hands" hardesty, and you run the worst offense in the nfl. I knew Harbaugh would be a great coach, I didn't get the shurmur hire and I still don't. He has the worst offense, and he benches our best offensive player from last year for a guy who is coming off an acl tear. clueless. Cleveland Browns football is a joke.like_that;935785 wrote:I made fun of your for getting a hard on for Jim Harbaugh, because he took an early lead over Oregon last year. IggyPride00Shurmur is a bum, and makes the Mangini/Daboll offensive approach seem like it was crafted by Bill fucking Walsh compared to this bullshit we watch each week.
Listening to him on the radio he is a smug arrogant prick that is too stupid to even understand that there is a problem, and that people are pissed off and fed up already. -
OQBThe coaching is horrible.

DeyDurkie5we should run the no huddle the entire game. McCoy plays a lot better when he is in a hurry.

Shouldn't your anger be directed at Mike Holmgren? also I like the Please and kindly you have added to your signature phrase.DeyDurkie5;935783 wrote:You basically bench Hillis for "stone-hands" hardesty, and you run the worst offense in the nfl. Please kindly go fuck yourself. -

that is something that ive noticed. it's not like the offense is juggernaut by going with a huddle. also, he needs to fix this hillis thing yesterdayDeyDurkie5;935818 wrote:we should run the no huddle the entire game. McCoy plays a lot better when he is in a hurry. -

I want to believe in Holmgren. I do like the infusion of young talent on the defense. I actually don't have much gripe on that side of the ball.
Offensively, we suck. -

the cupboard was really bone-dry on both sides of the ball. heckert will probably need at least and probably two more solid drafts to build it back uphoops23;935907 wrote:+1

jordo212000Honest question, why are they paying Holmgren what they are paying him. They brought him in and the first thing he does is hire Heckert to be his GM. You could have just hired Heckert and saved a lot of cash.
Is his role simply to oversee "everybody"? -
hoops23Holmgren was not hired as the GM, he was brought in as the Team President.

THE4RINGZHillis wasn't benched, the sideline reporter on the browns network was reporting Hillis was having a hamstring issue and porbably would not be returning to the game.

I know. That's what I am saying. If he is going to delegate personnel moves, why hire him? Just hire Heckerthoops23;935935 wrote:Holmgren was not hired as the GM, he was brought in as the Team President. -
rydawg5I agree with Durka here, eventhough he will tell me "Fuck you rydawg" like a 10 year old.

OQBHolmgren was hired so Lerner doesn't have to worry about making decisions related to football. That is the smartest thing he has done since the Lerner's owned the Browns. I think it would be great if Lerner would sell the franchise to someone "football oriented" who knows how important football is to NE Ohio. Lerner really cares about his pro soccer team, the browns are just something that provides him spending money....he doesn't really care about winning.

That's kind of what I was getting at. He pays Holmgren to act like he is the ownerOQB;936116 wrote:Holmgren was hired so Lerner doesn't have to worry about making decisions related to football. I completely disagree with that. A bad GM or coach can be fired, but a bad hands-on owner can fuck you for decades.OQB;936116 wrote:I think it would be great if Lerner would sell the franchise to someone "football oriented" who knows how important football is to NE Ohio. I love that he's hands off and let's football people make the football decisions, while at the same time he isn't afraid to spend as much money as is needed to fix the (repeated) bad mistakes this organization makes.
