Melo and Durant avg the same amt of rebounds. Melo is one of the best offensive rebounders in the game. Durant and Melo's overall stats are very, very similiar.

Hes like 6'10 and averages less than a rebound more than Melo for his career

Hes a better passer? They both are about the same as passing, and its nothing special lol.

No it is nothing special. I just think he is slightly better at those 3 aspects I listed. To go along with being a slightly better scorer/shooter as well. They are very similar, but when I watch, Durant is a tiny bit better in most aspects of the game. Thats why I put him in my top 10, and Melo around 11 or 12.

At least 10 of Shawn Kemp's kids are better at basketball than Melo.
  • Mulva
    LeBron
    Wade
    Durant
    Howard
    Kobe
    Dirk
    Rose
    Griffin (yep, already)
    D-Will
    CP3

I'd rank Melo and Amare t-11, slightly ahead of guys like Aldridge, Rondo, Pau, Randolph, and Westbrook.

People who think Blake Griffin is better than Melo only watch Sportscenter. That's the only way you could think that.

People who think Blake is anywhere near the top 10 only watch Sportscenter.

Yeah, hes def twice the highlight reel of melo if not 3 times. But I cant believe people actually think Him, Tyreke Evans and other names on these lists are better lol

Take out Blake and put in Pau and I agree for the most part, Melo is anywhere near that top ten, depends on what you value in a player.

Depends on what the media shoves down your throat (not you in particular but most). ESPN says Melo doesnt play D then everyone assumes hes a 1 way player. Durant does the same thing and gets praised for it

    LBJ
    Wade
    Kobe
    Durant
    Dwight
    Dirk
    CP3
    Rose

    There are 8 definites.
Debatable, IMO, are Pau, Amare, Westbrook, Love, Rondo.

Pau?! I like his game, but no fucking way is he better than Melo or even close. I've seen him get abused and/or disappear too many times.

Yeah I agree with what you're saying, I don't think Rose is a great defender yet either. Talent wise Melo is top 5 I would say, would like to see more out of him in the play making department and defensively obviously. He's one of the elite scorers in the game but the intangibles aren't always there. It all opinion, what I value isn't the same as what you value or what someone else does really.

Am I the only person who thinks Deron Williams is the best PG in the league?

His great > Melo's great. Ive seen Melo disappear a lot as well. Has Melo ever gotten his team out of the first round of the playoffs? I really dont know. At least Pau has to his credit that a lot of people consider him, including myself, the reason the Lakers won their last championship.

One year they went to the conf finals, every other year they were bounced in the first round.

Shhh, don't tell Kobe fans that, they think he's won all 5 rings by his self.
