Is Ron Washington back on the Coke? Victor in much pain after his swing, grimaces all the way around the bases and slams his helmet after possibly the biggest hit of his life....then with 2 runners on in a tied game he pitches to the guy who hit .325 every year with 120 RBI, and then pitches around the guy that we don't even know if he can swing???? Ron Washington in many ways in is Dusty Baker from a rough neighborhood.

Maybe I was on to something...

No reps for my Dusty Baker analogy? That's good stuff.

    Jesus Fister can fly!

Man I wouldn't take him out, but Leyland never makes a move that doesn't work.

sure, as soon as I get reps for my mountain of coke comment.

Being real honest (and this scares me a little) I've had the coke thought with Ron Washington about 5 times a game....I hear Ron Washington and I immediately think of Ron in the same mold as all the other players from the 80's that had the coke issues.....so I didn't fully appreciate because I was thinking the same damn thing.

That's because if you see a close up of him, you can see some powder residue in his mustache. You aren't imagining things.

Trying to get an out from Scherzer in the 7th yesterday rather than starting the inning with a fresh pitcher cost Leyland big yesterday by losing the narrow advantage they had.

    It'll be 2-2 back in Texas...best of 3
It'll be 3-2 Tigers heading back to Texas. Can the Tigers take 1 in Arlington? If the Tigers can get some run support to help out Porcello tomorrow night, I think JV gets it done in Game 5 and it turns the entire series around. Porcello tomorrow is the key. Biggest game of the series IMO is Game 4.

I think if any team left in the post season can do it, it's the Tigers (I am biased, of course, being a lifelong Tigers fan). The team is battle tested and have an experienced manager. Not too mention quite a few veteran players.

Rangers storm back to take the 3-2 lead in Rainy Detroit.

Good God Mark Kotsay. 1st and 2nd....1 out and Fielder hits a ball that Jon Jay catches fairly easily and Kotsay is way too far off of 2nd and gets doubled off...all the while get griped up and his face mashes into the infield dirt....I imagine Brewers fans will call that punishment. Horrible baserunning.

Pujols slugging 1.300 and Fielder slugging 1.430 in this series. Both with .600 OBP. 2 guys that are going to get huge paydays in the next month or two.

    Fox is a joke.

    Jesus Gallardo!

    2-0....bases loaded and no outs.....awesome

In my mind David Descalso and Skip Schumaker get huge paydays now.

Haha and his brother Daniel Descalso?

Leyland letting the infamous Al Albuquerque in there to try to find the plate with the bases loaded.
