Ortiz vs Mayweather
-
robj55This Saturday the 17th, anyone going to watch this, anyone care?
-
bigdaddy2003Do they have free feeds for boxing like they do MMA? That is the only way I will catch it. The only boxing match I would pay for at this point would be Mayweather and Manny and that fight isn't going to happen because Floyd is scared.
-
SportsAndLadyThere's a Hooters by my place that is showing this for no charge..probably gonna hit it up
I friggin love big boxing fights (hate MMA) -
killer_ewokI love boxing too but I'm just not trying to drop $65 on this.
If Pacquiao-Mayweather ever happens....I'll buy that. -
robj55
You are watching the wrong sport my friend, trust me.SportsAndLady;897814 wrote:There's a Hooters by my place that is showing this for no charge..probably gonna hit it up

Hb31187Mayweather by epic ass whipping
-
robj55I wouldn't mid watching this fight but I would rather watch free UFC fights on spike. Mayweather is agrea defensive fighter and counter puncher. I used to be an avid boxing fan but the promoters and greed within it really killed my interest. That and they don't even put on the best fights or the fights that the fans wanna see.

Mayweather will probably win by decision, dancing around countering the power of Ortiz.Hb31187;897894 wrote:Mayweather by epic ass whipping -

Just don't get into MMA. Think it's okay to watch, just don't really get into it as a sport.robj55;897843 wrote:You are watching the wrong sport my friend, trust me.
There's nothing better than a big boxing match...the aura around the stadium/arena, the hype, all the betting involved, the intensity, the dialogue between rounds, the controversy, the sketchiness, the knockout...just awesome -
robj55
I understand what you are saying, unfortunately those fights and days are behind us. There isn't one fighter today that gets me excited like, "I have to watch this guy".SportsAndLady;897988 wrote:Just don't get into MMA. Think it's okay to watch, just don't really get into it as a sport.

I think that aura is dead honestly, which sucks, but promoters killed it.killer_ewok;898014 wrote:This. -

Yeah I think Pacquaio is the best boxer out there, he's a beast and is really aggressive.SportsAndLady;898002 wrote:Pacquiao for me. I ****in love watching him fight. It's unreal how quick he is. -

I can see how some people might feel that way. All of that BS is ridiculous.robj55;898019 wrote:I think that aura is dead honestly, which sucks, but promoters killed it. -

What they need is some new blood to promote, a new generation. I don't know that there is going to be that next generation however, they may all go to MMA.killer_ewok;898028 wrote:I can see how some people might feel that way. All of that BS is ridiculous. -

I didn't mean the aura around boxing in general..I meant the aura around a stadium/arena of a top boxing match...like Pac/Margarito last year..or soon to be Ortiz/Mayweatherrobj55;898019 wrote:I think that aura is dead honestly, which sucks, but promoters killed it. -

Got you, just wish there were more than one of those or two a year.SportsAndLady;898064 wrote:I didn't mean the aura around boxing in general..I meant the aura around a stadium/arena of a top boxing match...like Pac/Margarito last year..or soon to be Ortiz/Mayweather -
hoops23The best boxer out there is PBF.
I still enjoy boxing, but I have become a much bigger MMA fan over the last couple of years. -
MulvaI like boxing and MMA, but I prefer boxing for sure. Nothing in the MMA compares to a great boxing match.
Probably won't watch this one unless I go out for the OSU game and that bar happens to be showing the fight after. -
SportsAndLadyI have absolutely no idea what I'm gonna do saturday night...I am trying to take it easy this weekend to save a little money, but holy shit saturday night theres this fight, OSU-UM, and Florida State-Oklahoma....my head might explode
