Cleveland Cavaliers @ Houston Rockets

  • Trueblue23
This should be a very good game! Cavs on the 2nd of a back to back, hopefully they aren't too tired after last night's OT game at Memphis.

    Cavs- 15-6
    Rockets- 11-9

    Thoughts?

Can't have the turnovers we did last night down the stretch.

Also Brown needs to realize his hot shooters. He didn't have Gibson in at all down the stretch when he was on fire earlier in the game.

I doubt Mo throws the ball away like he did last night, he looked like a junior high schooler passing the ball.

Not sure what to think of this one, prob another one down to the wire.

Be great if Houston actually played the way they are capable of.

Um, what? You do realize the Rockets have actually been exceeding expectations don't you? They don't have their top 2 players (although McGrady is debatable) and yet they've been a solid team. I'd say they're definitely playing to, if not exceeding what they're capable of.

Terrible that this poopy Chicago game is on tv, but we can't watch Cleveland or LA play tonight..

Cavs down 33-19 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Cavs are really bouncing back after last night
  • hoops23
Another night of lethargy and no ball movement.
  • ytownfootball
WTF, going back to watching LeBron at the top of the key 'till the shot clock runs out...

C'mon Brown get in some ears.
  • burt07
    SMH Cavs, SMH.
  • hoops23
Well, Cavs with a chance to get it down to 8...

Defense is at least playing good now, and the 2nd unit actually figured out that when you attack the basket, good things happen!

Anyone else think that Mike Brown is the problem?
  • hoops23
    No.

They show flashes of offensive brilliance, but then get back into the 1-on-1 mode and watching LeBron.

Mike Brown is NOT the problem.

    Fair analysis bro.

I wish Mike would actually rip into his team. It's been two years since I saw him actually rip into the guys during a timeout for their play...

That is the only quarrel I have with Mr. Potato Head.
  • Trueblue23
LTrain do u think Brown doesn't do that b/c he is afraid of pissing LeBron off??

Tim Legler made that point a few nights ago on NBA ShootAround.
  • ytownfootball
Maybe LeBron needs to get pissed off. I'd respect Brown more if he did chew them out, especially when they slip into this BS.
  • burt07
Well Mike might not be ripping the players but he certainly just ripped the refs. Just got thrown out of the game.
  • hoops23
Well, at least Mike is ripping into somebody lmao..
  • Trueblue23
I don't have the game airing here in WCH, but if anyone is watching..

Is Battier defending LeBron? He can check almost anyone..

Could be the spark Cleveland needs..

I say they come back and win this game in the 2nd half.
  • hoops23
The Cavs are throwing up JUNK.

Lucky to only be down 13.

Down 13 and LeBron hasn't played well at all.
  • Trueblue23
Cavs trail 52-39 at the half..

Delonte West leads Cleveland with 8 points

Trevor Ariza leads Houston with 15.
  • hoops23
Ariza hasn't missed, I don't expect that to continue.
