That going for 2 while up a bunch thing must run in the family. Can't wait 'til November 6th but in the meantime congrats to the Ravens.

Ravens got a good win today, wish I could have seen it.

Oh please, they were 1 minute into the 2nd half and up 20 at the time, are you saying the game was over then? If so why play the 2nd half then, the steelers should have just walked off the field if they thought they didn't have a chance.

Seriously though....who does that there? Not saying they couldn't go for it but don't think it went unnoticed.

Didn't the Steelers go through the entire pre-season without a turnover? I guess they caught up today.

Wallace fumbled at least once in the preseason.

Haven't read this thread and didn't watch the game cause I was in Cleveland......

but, I was shocked to see someone run for that amount on the Steelers...was there a couple long runs, or did they just get beat up the whole game? Also, I saw on the scoreboard that Ben had at least 3 picks...I don't get why the Steelers get so pass happy. He is a good qb, but they are so much better when he is managing a game and the running game is working.

One was tipped and Ray Lewis got it but the other two were extended plays by Ben where you expect something real good for the Steelers and he threw 2 lob passes right to Ed Reed....nothing spectacular by the HOF safety....just a couple of "here you go big guy, love Ben"

Your really mad that the score was 29-7 instead of 28-7? Maybe if the steeler defense stops them from converting the 2 point play its 27-7 and your just giddy about it?

I didn't mind the 2 point play. Actually I was hoping it would piss the Steelers off and light a fire under their ass.

Yeah, I didn't like it. I didn't see the point other than rubbing salt in the wound. That's fine. The Steelers play them at least one more time this season.

The fact that Reed had 2 picks is something. They might not have been his hardest to get but it's still good. And I don't assume the Ravens thought going for 2 would be un-noticed. I'm pretty sure they know what challenge they face on Nov 6th. I also don't think they did it to rub salt on the wound.

It was a beatdown at that point, but STILL just a 3 score game. If the 2 pt conversion play is that wide open like they obviously knew it would be, how can you hate on them for taking the extra point...and in turn making Pitt go for 2 at some point should they get 3 TDs to tie. If they have the easy play, and force Pitt into a tough one for the tie why not take it. Game wasnt over by any means at that point, imo.

Guys, I'm saying that I didn't care for it and that's not going to change. Maybe it was strictly strategy but Harbaugh strikes me as the type to stick it up your ass when he gets the chance. If it wasn't a hated rival that did that I may be looking at it differently.

QQ. Its the pros. Bellilcheck always runs the score up when given the chance.

Maybe if Pitts defense showed up you wouldn't be crying over getting spanked lol

Cool. And how'd that work out for him last year against the Jets in the playoffs? He ran it up on them in the previous meeting last year and I think they probably got some extra motivation from that.

If I'm "crying" about it then you guys are QQ about my not liking it. LOL

But I'll agree that the Steelers appeared to go thru the motions and got their asses kicked. I don't see that happening again.

No, we're calling you a bitch for talking about running up the score. They're professionals, if they can't stop another team they deserved to get worked over.

Especially when its your rival that you normally have close games with. If you have a chance to send a message you do it. The Steelers ran up the score on the Browns last year, and nobody was crying about that. Typical hypocritcal bs from Steelers fans.

Oh look, it's like_that, raw dawgin' and COA all saying the same thing. Again. Do you guys ever disagree with each other? LOL.

Anyways, it's my opinion and you don't have to agree with it. Had it been the Chiefs that did it....I would not have thought much of it. Harbaugh and the Ravens...I think they were trying to send a message. I'm sure it was noted.

Sure, these things happen but sometimes it can be counterproductive (See: Patriots vs. Jets last year).

    If that's crying/QQ....so be it.

    It is, don't worry.
