Again, I was taught differently, because technically I broadcast nationally (meaning anyone on the internet could have listened). I had to assume that fans from both the opponent and Buckeyes would be listening. Almost every broadcast we had fans from the opponent's state listening in because they couldn't find the game on TV and we were one of the first things that popped up when you typed in internet radio for ohio state football. -
hoops23You're not Tom Hamilton.
-
hoops23No doubt Chicago wins now.

Laley23lhslep134;864844 wrote:Like I said, I was taught differently. In every venue I listed above that I broadcasted in objectivity was close to required. I witnessed an Oregon media member escorted out of the pressbox during the Rose Bowl because of repeated reactions to Oregon plays.
Verbal or Physical? You cant be jumping or anything like that. But verbal enthusiasm is usually allowed.
Ive been to many places for broadcasting as well, and if I am TV and near other TV, its objective. When I am on the radio area, we are all biased. The Big Ten Tourney for basketball was hilarious. 8 different schools sent radio, and it was just hilarious how excited we would get. Then we would go an have to interview the other players for TV and be objective.
Most radio broadcasters have a job because they are homers and their audience loves them, driving ratings. On TV, the ratings arent driven....at all....by the broadcasters. So they need to be more objective. -
royal_kIt will be a miracle if Durbin gets out of this.

hoops23Fucking Juan Pierre and his bullshit solo homer... Frustrating.. On top of that, this team has 5 fucking triples.
-
wildcats20OK here's a legit question that I've never seen really happen....
But on that last foul out, does the on deck batter HAVE to move? -
