exactly...I know he is trying to argue the call and be civil about it...BUT at some point you have to get your team fired up and really stand up for them and let the umps know how terrible their calls are.

Us Reds fans say the same shit about Dusty. He is the WORST at arguing. I really think he goes out there and talks about their day with the ump.

I assume none of you guys are watching this on the CWS broadcast? It's absolutely terrible. These announcers are about as un-objective as you can be. Complete amateur hour and it's bullcrap that I can only get that broadcast in Arizona.

Acta knows when he needs to get ejected and when he doesn't. At this point in the game his tactical expertise is needed more than getting his troops fired up and getting ejected.

Are they saying these calls are good?

They're not saying they're bad. They're kind of just accepting that the Indians aren't getting any breaks and the Sox are.

They are just doing what any home team announce crew would do.

After every CWS strikeout, they announcer say's "He Gone". It's honestly worse than some of the kids I did PBP with for Buckeye Baseball, at least those kids, despite not being good, were objective. These guys are straight homers, pure amateur hour.

I think they are the only TV team worse than the Tribes'. lol

No. Read my above post. You're taught in broadcasting to be as objective as possible, and in most pressboxes celebrating is extremely discouraged (at least in the ones at The 'Shoe, Rose Bowl, Superdome, Big House, Kinnick, Camp Randall). I'm not naming those places to namedrop, I'm saying at most respectable places the home guys are supposed to act objectively. These guys are hilariously homerish.

After the safe call on the bunt, the announcer clapped his hands and screamed YES!!
  • OQB
Jesus....do we have any outfielders tonight???

5 triples is just uncalled for!

Well yeah, have you never heard Hawk Harrelson call a game. They are famous for that stuff.

    "He Gone!'
"you can out it on the board....yeeeeesssss"
    "Stretch! It will!"
    "pick to click"

    My personal favorite
    "That is BS, Brian Gorman!"
  • lhslep134
"And that's why Alex Rios should be in the running for AL MVP".

Have you ever heard Tom Hamilton call a game?

That walking turd has a heart attack when a pitcher gets a strike out in the 2nd inning.

Yes. Its the radio lol. Of course they are gonna be homers. TV Should be objective, especially a national broadcast.
