Minnesota Twins vs Cleveland Indians series thread

According to Acta it's to get him as many reps as possible to get him back into things. I'm not sure I agree with that but if it works and it gets him back faster then I'm all for it.

Can the Indians end the season in similar fashion to the way they started? A 32-15 end (started 30-15) would put them at 90 wins, which would probably be enough to win the division. Do you think they need to finish this strong, or could somewhere around 86 or 87 wins do it?

I like your thinking. I've been too worried about keeping our necks above .500, which doesn't seem to be of concern to very many on here. That would be cool if we started playing some ball like we did last year at this time.....when there were about 5 of us posting. ;-)

According to Hammy, he reports that Thome gets a good hand from the crowd, as well he should. BRF says screw him....traitor!

The More You Know: Thome has hit 187 Home Runs at The Jake.

He should have been a lifer here.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I've seen that "Rep" thread, but I haven't dare set foot in it, I'm afraid of what I might see haha.

Nice to see Hafner return to 2010 form.

Tiger tie O's at 2. Have to assume they will get 2 of 3.

Is Carl fucking Pavano really going to shut us out tonight?

    Yes, it's inevitable.
  • Glory Days
seems like every batter so far has been 0-2 or 1-2 against Pavano. not gonna get many hits with those counts.
  • hoops23
Amazing how we can score 3 off Verlander just the night before, and now we're getting shutout by Carl. CARL!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • TBone14
Of course we give Masterson no run support. He has to be as tired of this fucking offense as we are.
  • wes_mantooth
Poor Masterson...if he was still with the Red Sox, he would probably have 15 wins or more this year.
  • TBone14
    Tigers lead 4-2.
