Reds vs. Giants - Game 2

  • Ironman92
    Gonna give Edgar a hit? He's a Reds player....give him a hit.

Stubbs and Edgar break up bumgarner's solid last couple innings, 6-1

Just call it as is. That play by Phillips was bullshit and every manager will agree with me....he played it wrong, missed it and it's an error. There is no argument. Flat out gift. My wife gave our daughter her first high school error ever on less and she was in her 17th varsity game of the season....at second base.

Respect the game....call it what it is.

Ciaro gets the job done again 7-1

Are you referring to within this game, like the Reds lose; or in the season, like this is a springboard for the Reds to win 12 of 13?

Can't be the season, this team has a 2 win streak max rule

Basically I posted that and the tide turned in our favor....so for now I was just basically wrong.

Error on Renteria....he's not going for the gold glove.

It was an error....but a backhanded miss on his only opportunity.....just like da man.

    Reverse pshycology. I like it!!
  • Midstate01
    Holy errors Edgar!!
  • mhs95_06
That 2nd E of the inning by Renteria was about as bad an error as you can have based on the ease with which the play should have been made!

But the tide may be turning back with the Reds defense that has really gone down hill in the last two series.

    This game is over.
  • Midstate01
    Huge strikeout there!
  • mhs95_06
Good job by Bray to get out of the soup in the 7th!
  • Ironman92
Cairo is forced to use the backhand...no error.
  • mhs95_06
Who will draw the assignment to pitch the 9th for the Reds? Arredondo? Masset?
  • jordo212000
Wish we could have pulled off that deal for Ubaldo. Heard the Reds had dangled Bailey and Wood
  • Ironman92
Played with fire a bunch...stuff going good. 7 runs on 7 hits

    Reds 2 errors....should be 3 and 50/50 on a 4th.
  • Ironman92
    More chicken.
  • Ironman92
Ya know....I'm fairly baseball smart on where to pitch players about the NL and where to avoid and what pitches....I have no clue how to keep Sandoval from hitting a line drive.
