Yeah? And Ubaldo went 19-8 with a 2.88 ERA last year at Coors Field. When either White or Pomeranz do that, get back to me. Until then, there's no reason to be upset.

If White is healthy and in the rotation, this move isn't made, and he may have been performing (likely would have been given how much Ubaldo has struggled since the ASB in 2010) better than Ubaldo. To then turn around and trade him, AND throwing in Pomeranz...wow. The Tribe must really think they can win it all in the next 2 years.

And you didn't know that DB also meant the safeties. BTW I know who White was, nice fail numbnuts. Go back to gaining weight and not having a chin you smug pos.

This trade sucked....but atleast they are trying to be aggresive before the trade deadline. Jimenez isn't worth 2 of our top prospects imo.

He had one great first half, thats true. Started 15-1. Since/Before that start he hasn't been as productive. Also still doesn't help the offense. Any other fails you want me to pwn frodo?

Lol, the only people who like the trade are some of the biggest trolls on this board. Figures.

Wouldn't a troll be killing the Indians for this trade and not talking it up? I have no idea what point you are trying to make here

    Probably a single A pitcher.

A bag of baseballs would be a good trade for O. Cabrera.

Until White or Pomeranz prove anything resembling Jimenez at the major league level (including, uhm, starting 15-1. Have White or Pomeranz done that yet? Uhm didn't think so), then the Indians have won this trade. IF they both somehow pan out, then you re-evaluate the trade then. To think anything otherwise is illogical.

False. You and like_that just continue to fail at reading comprehension. I was only talking about the CB position. Was saying it is dumb to lock up 1/6 of your team's payroll on 3 guys who play the same position. You guys refuse to acknowledge that part of my argument for whatever reason. But that's what you do and who you guys are.

lol Indians fans aren't happy with the trade. The resident troll and his hobbit like the trade, yet all the indian fans are wrong. LMAO what a joke. Pathetic trolling attempt.

Indians get OF Thomas Neal from San Fran. He's a AAA guy

Lep said you guys were wrong. I certainly haven't. You all could be right? I don't know. I do know that I was kicking myself when I heard you guys pulled off the trade.

Find me one Indians fan who was willing to give up Pomeranz and White (or even Pomeranz by himself) for Jimenez, and I'll come meet up with you and shake your hand. Then go hunt that person down and kick them in the nuts for being a not mentally-handicapped retard.

Are you stupid? Do you think most top MLB pitchers just go straight from HS/College to MLB without hitting the minors? Look at the top players in MLB and see where they were ranked in their minor league systems before they hit it big, and then post again.

Usually, my pissed-offness goes down as my drunkness does with the Indians. But with this moves, I doubt it.

Yup. Like when I predicted that Indians would have a solid team this year before the season started? (you guys predicted a poor season) Or when I predicted the Cavs demise last year? Or when I went against the grain and said that they wouldn't make the playoffs when everybody was slurping the idea of "team play" centered around Joey Graham and Mo Williams?

For every top prospect that makes it, there are about 5 that don't make it. Sorry if that was too confusing for you to understand.

LMAO I would love to see these posts you smug POS. You said that the indians had some talent in the minors, congrats on that call. I dont recall you saying they'd win the central. They had a hot start and since then a terrible season. They have a fucking losing season against the AL, bet you didn't know that did you? They're pretenders with that offense plain and simple.

lol "you" predicted the cavs demise. Thats rich. You and every other sporting news outlet, really going on a limb there dumbfuck. Against the grain, excuse me while I LMAO. Might as well say you're going out on a limb and the Eagles defense will be good.

Look Pomeranz and White were on my do not trade list for the Beltran trade. However, I've become a little more lenient with this because we're getting a pitcher with really great stuff while giving up 2 top flight pitching prospects and 2 guys whose chance of MLB success (in terms of trade value) is a coinflip at this point. Let's also remember that we're sending them to Colorado, where no other pitcher in the 17 years of the Rockies' existence has thrown more than 2 sub 3.50 ERA seasons except for Jimenez. If White and Pomeraz both thrive there, then admittedly we got boned in this trade. But if that doesn't happen, and at this point it's not a certainty, then we didn't get robbed.

I dont think people are as upset with the trade itself. But with the perceived value of Pom and White, we got shelled.

Baseball seems to have taken a turn in trades (really since the Tribe fleeced Omar Minya and Expos) in who you give up and how much a top prospect is worth, and its usually more for a pitching prospect. Thats where the hangup is. Look at what the Phils gave up for Pence? Not nearly as much. Look what we got for CC and Lee? Not nearly as much. It isnt that this cant be a "win" for the Tribe. But with the way baseball works right now, and the value of the 3 main pieces involved, we got fucked. Thats where most, imo, fell upset.
