  I don't have an issue with a lot of what Harrison said. (Except the part where he says the NFL hates Pittsburgh because the players are black). I find myself agreeing with Harrison on a lot of this stuff. I hate Goodell too

  The rules changes are beyond ridiculous and the dude acts like a dictator. If they keep changing the rules, it is going to ruin the game. Goodell has far too much power. How is he the guy punishing the players and then hearing their appeals? How does that make sense?

  The "misquoted" cop out is a bunch of bullshit. With all of these celebrities getting "misquoted', one would think they'd either a) take along a recorder as proof or b) bring along some type of "representation" (lawyer, agent, etc) so they'd have proof if they were "misquoted." He knew what he was saying. Dumbass just has diarhhea of the gums.

  That's why I think Roethlisbeger probably knew that Harrison said that shit and probably thought 'just James being crazy fucking James" and dismissed it as Harrison being a dumbass. He kinda has a track record for saying/doing stupid shit so it likely doesn't surprise his teammates at this point.

  Mendenhall tweeted (ha) basically just that. Doesn't think much of it because he knows James. Was listening to Pittsburgh sports talk radio this morning and they said Darnell Dinkins works out with Harrison in the offseason and he said he doesn't think there will be any backlash in the locker room because James is that way all the time so everybody already knows how he is. Take that FWIW.
  
  They posed an interesting question too. What's been the worst part of the Steeler offseason....Ward's DUI, Mendenhall's tweet(s) or Harrison's Men's Journal story? Technically Ward's was the worst but this Harrison stuff will probably raise more eyebrows.

  There's a difference between having a filter and being politically correct. Some people seem to regard the lack of said filter as a positive. Personally, I don't.

He claims that he was shown some hits, some of which went back 4 years, and asked what he was thinking when he made the hits.What do they think he was thinking ???   Harrison could walk away a lot healthier than the track he is on...if he tackles how he is supposed to. Didnt Goodell cut his salary to like $1 during the lockout?
