Damn...tough loss. BP has been lights out for the most part.

I say leave Manny in Arizona after tomorrow afternoon. Pitching to Pena was a mistake. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!
pushing all the wrong buttons lately.....

Sipp has not been very good in his last few outings. If I remember from last year, he had stretches like that. You just hate to lose games like that.

SMH, I knew when it was tied 2-2 we were going to lose. Sucks to wake up and find I was right. I dont even know what kind of collaspe this team has taken. Its a whole new level than anything I've ever witnessed.

I don't know, wasn't it 2005 where they needed just one win (or something like that) in their last 6 games to make the playoffs and gagged? When Ozzie Guillen did his famous hands around the throat "choke" symbol? That was a pretty epic collapse.

Ohhh, right. I forgot about that. Thanks for bringing that up!

Being up 3-1 on the Red Sox was a pretty significant collapse in the playoffs.

Yeah, but to be fair, the Tribe was 15 GB in July that year... To even have it come down to 1 game after the start the ChiSox got off too was amazing in itself.

The ALCS collapse of 2007 was way more disheartening.

Nothing tops Joe Table's implosion in the 97 World Series.

Tell Webster Slaughter (who SHOULD'VE been blamed for Byner's fumble) I said "hi." ;)

Yeah he's standing right next to Both Davis's postseason prevent defense, Dumbass Anderson's 4 ints in Cincy and LeBad Games's elbow.

Man, you guys sure know how to bring back good memories.

CC going tonight gives us a fighting chance to win this series. Just trying to stay positive. ;)

    You guys suck....this is depressing

I'll bet Kipnis would relish playing RF or 1B. ;-)

Hit 2 HRs last night....he's ready to come up, but we have a log jam at 2nd base.

Tomlin has 1B on lock down, he better head to RF:D

I was too sick to post last night after that. Buck missed that homer by inches. Nice of Wily Mo to end it so I could go to sleep. Dragging ass in the office today.

Surprised nobody commented on the fact that Sipp should have balked in the winning run and they missed. He started to come set, stopped, then stepped off. As soon as he stops, that is a balk. Surprised the umps missed it. Roberts and Williams at 3rd didn't. That should have been the 2nd run Sipp has balked in in the last week or so.
  • vball10set
Sipp's had a tough road trip, that's for sure
  • dazedconfused
damn, that could have been at least a three bagger for santana if that gets by the left fielder. oh well, got the one run
  • stlouiedipalma
Another miss on the call at 2nd. He never had the ball.
  • Laley23
We really should be starting Santana at first and Marson behind the dish every game until LaPorta can go. Unless they have pitcher/catcher match-ups I dont know about???

Also, and I understand it. But if you take out Chiz for the lefty Duke, WHY play Hannahan who is also lefty? Why not do the O-Cab to 3rd and have Phelps (who is a switch) play 2nd? Is it cause CC is a groundball pitcher?
  • dazedconfused
nice to see brantley get a knock to plate hannahan. he's really been in a funk lately. 2-0 tribe
  • stlouiedipalma
    2-0 Tribe. Keep it up.

Upton just showed the wild arm I was talking about. Thats why I would run on every arm in the bigs outside of like 5 or 6 in plays where a good throw is a close play. Because most guys are either wild or dont have the strong arm.
