    Rivers is definitely top 5.

San Diego is headed for Rivers saying he wants out if Norv stays.

Cutler is reportedly done for the year (or close to it) with a broken thumb. Caleb Hanie will take over the quarterbacking duties.

Well I can't remember what thread it was on but I'm here to own up to it... Non you were right and I was wrong the Bills are absolutely terrible.

But as for the Bears I think they well be alright Hanie has been decent from what I remember over last few years. I like their chances with a backup a lot more than the Texasn with Leinart.

    Orton waived by Denver.

Maybe, but KC and Houston have waiver priority. Shit. Hopefully Cutler can be back by week 17

The Bears are 30th in the waiver line, 29 other teams will have to pass. It will cost a team 2.5 million dollars to pick up Orton for the rest of the year.

Seems like a no-brainer for the Chiefs.

admittedly i didn't know the waiver wire order. so my first post on this is moot. KC just put cassell on IR so this is a gift for them. I'll be shocked if he doesn't end up in KC.

Well according to reports your call of him to the Bears will be correct. There was no way he was going to KC. KC wouldn't want to pay him 2.6 million when they have no chance at going to the playoffs. I think its more of a shock that Houston didn't take him. But I guess they want to see what they have in Leinart.

Man, I'll bet the Raiders are banging their heads against the wall right about now...

I doubt it. Palmer had a rough start after not playing for almost a year but he is playing pretty darn good right now.

Wrong twice in the same post. Reps.

Technically you could say he was wrong 3 times because the Chiefs do have a chance to make the playoffs. (Unless that is what your 2nd point was skyhook)
  • Speedofsand
Finally, in week 17. That's when Orton will give the Broncos the best chance to win.

I stand corrected he was wrong 3 times in 1 post.

Lol fail by me. Really didnt think the Chiefs would pick him up. But I know they have a chance to make the playoffs I just don't see it happening at all.
