Crimson streakWow fausto sucking again. Go figure

Laley23My parents are up at our cottage with Bob DiBiasio. He just told me that with the Choo injury, "The Indians will probably be forced into action to replace him. Id expect some kind of move. But at the same time, its so hard to trade for a positional player because of what will happen next year when we still have Jack Hannahan at third hitting a buck-80 because Lonnie Chisenhall is on another Big League roster."
Basically, he was saying they will actively be looking, but the odds of them stepping up to make a BIG splash probably wont happen until they have a firmer grasp of what they have on the team. IE (Brantley, Santana, Tomlin, CC, and Phelps). If we are in the same position next year, you can expect a big trade, if needed. -

DiBiasio has to toe the company line...the fact is, if making a big move means taking on a hefty contract...it simply isn't going to happen with this front office. -
stlouiedipalmaAs far as I'm concerned, they can send Fausto to Columbus or give him his walking papers. It's tough to have such uncertainty hanging over the team every fifth game. You really don't know which Carmona is going to show up any given night, but about the only thing you can count on lately is that his pitches will be up. When they were changing umpires in the 2nd, he was sitting on the bench looking like a lost soul. His confidence is gone and, unfortunately, he might be gone with it.

wes_mantoothso long Fausto, this should seal your fate....have fun in the bullpen

We know exactly what we will get. Shit. -
stlouiedipalmaWhile I'm at it, perhaps it's time to give Hafner away as well. I've always liked Pronk, but if you are so bad with the glove that you cannot play any position in the field then you are of no use as a baseball player. Even the king of the DH, Edgar Martinez, could play a position once in a while.

I understand what you are saying, but when he is with my family, he doesnt. He tells it like it is (I remember 2 years ago he went on a tirade about Dolan, it was awesome). In public yes, but around our bonfire pit at our cottage he doesnt. He answers the questions I ask frankly. I always ask if I can share what he says, and he says sure, just not to the press. -
TBone14Ugggh. Just turned it on and down 3. Carmona shitty again? Walking guys or what?

yeah, I believe that...and I am sure that the GM and manager hate that they are handicapped by the cheapass Dolans.
As for the game...I already flipped on True Blood, but I flipped back to see us pop out with runners on 1st and 2nd with zero outs......ugh, it is amazing how bad they are at situational hitting -
Crimson streakFirst 2 on and we get nothing again. Horrible
-
like_thatGet two guys on with no outs, and end up with no runs. Huge surprise there /sarcasm.
-
Laley23Alright, I got 1 inning in me before I flip to the DVR of TrueBlood. That or Fausto giving up more runs. Im guessing I got another 8 minutes of this game.

jordo212000Bobby Valentine is atrocious. Laughable that he has that job
-
Laley23Why did the teams switch jerseys for this half inning?

Gotta look at it this way.....at least it isn't Tim McCarver the WOAT -
jordo212000Sizemore had a hard time fighting that one off

Wow, they changed back REALLY fast. I didnt even notice.
SMH at Sizemore. -
Laley233rd straight game with 2 errors in the same inning. At least this game we used 2 players to get it done.
-
TBone14Who is starting the next thread after this waste of a series?

You're right, Fox definitely has the worst commenting team in sports. Joe "Monotone" Buck and Tim McCarver. -
Al BundySizemore doesn't even care. He is laughing about his error.

I will. I havent done one in forever. Though, Im not liking the chances. Arizona has 8 guys who can all mash the ball. Pretty much, the anit-Tribe...which right now is a GREAT thing. -

I always like it when a guy stands in the outfield and laughs after an error. -

Wily Mo is back. He's had 2 bombs since he has made it back to the big league
