Tribe Hosting Pirates, June 17, 18, 19

hoops23And the Tigers go down, 5-4...
Tribe is now back in sole possession of first -
HitsRusAnother great outing by Carrasco who is pitching much better than he was projected to when aquired in the Cliff Lee deal. That's a good thing especially because the other pitching piece aquired in that trade...Jason Knapp... has undergone a second shoulder surgery since becoming a member of the Tribe.

areyoukiddingmeIT WAS 5-1

TBone14Feels good to win a series. Busting some brooms out today will feel even better.

vball10setnow we'll see how the hitting coach change affects our offense....

iclfan2A leadoff batter that strikes out a ton makes no sense.

This. I didn't want to say anything, because I have been complaining about Grady way too much, but it's just pathetic. If he somehow just draws a walk, Brantley brings him in with the double. SMH. Acta should try Brantley at 1 and Grady at 2. -
BRFNow we go!

TBone14Santana hit that thing a mile. Phelps just missed going back to back. Now a past ball and walk and the Tribe got something brewing...
-
iclfan2Santana with a jack (I missed it cuz I had turned to Nascar for a second). Would like to get at least one with Phelps on third with no outs.
-
like_thatNeed more of that from Santana.
-
like_thatGrady with another strike out. How shocking /sarcasm.

dazedconfusedthat inning looked so promising there for a second...at least we tied it up

I'm beginning to think you're right--he looks absolutely clueless at the platelike_that;806204 wrote:No he won't. He has shown no signs of getting his bat to life in the past 4 years. -
dazedconfusedgrady seems to have that one game (like last night) where he looks locked in and then will spend the next week to week and a half looking like a AA player at best at the plate

iclfan2Grady just looks lost now. A 6 pitch inning for the pirates there. 2 -2 still.

like_thatAnybody know what Strikemore gets paid per strikeout?

iclfan2Vinnie P looked good again.
