Thursday Night Football [12/10] Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6) @ Cleveland Browns (1-11)
-
FootwedgeAnnouncer is full of crap. His foot hit the pylon with ball in hand. that is a touchdown everytime.
-
Laley23Dumb announcer kept going on and on about how the ball didnt cross. Hey, dumbass, that only applies when the body is out of bounds. Jennings foot went into the endzone, that is enough. What a moron.
-
BlueDevil11Where have these Browns been all year?
I know it is only a half, but still, I don't remember them playing close to this good all year. -
Glory Days
yeah that just doesnt make any sense, that would mean any tip toe catch on the sidelines only counts if the ball is caught in the field of play.SportsAndLady wrote: Lol what are these announcers talking about? I've never heard the ball has to go inside the pylon...idk maybe i'm wrong, but they sure as hell looked dumb when the ref called that a TD after saying for 5 minutes it wasn't a TD -
BlueDevil11I love what the defense is doing.
They have 2 down linemen and everybody else is walking/running around.
They are using the Steelers defense from a couple years ago. -
Nonthat's a good call
Millen doesn't know -
BlueDevil11The quarterback should just wear a bright pink uniform.
Whenever you get close to him, you play 2-hand touch. If you dive, it will be a penalty as well. -
Hb31187Ok seriously though some browns fan answer my question. Who is Chris Jennings? Practice squad?
-
Nonnice drive to get the receivers running around and loose
-
Non13-3 Browns
at halftime -
Laley23
lol, they have told us like 50 times tonight. He was in Canada before this.Hb31187 wrote: Ok seriously though some browns fan answer my question. Who is Chris Jennings? Practice squad? -
Nonthey put that rule in before the season because of Brady getting hurt last year
it was clear as day a late low hit
Millen is just trying to play to the fans that don't watch much -
BlueDevil11"Transactions
Browns October 3: Signed RB Chris Jennings from the practice squad. Placed RB James Davis on injured reserve. "
This is quoted from ESPN. -
NonBrowns are playing tough
pushing the Steelers defense around that last drive
but I think they were a little tired, the offense needs to do something -
Glory Days
and walked on at like arizona state or something haha.Laley23 wrote:

I know they put that rule in, but what is the point of football if you can't hit the quarterback?Non wrote: they put that rule in before the season because of Brady getting hurt last year

Late hit is one thing. That was in the middle of the thigh though, not a low hit.Non wrote: they put that rule in before the season because of Brady getting hurt last year

Not a Browns fan, but he's a nobody. Was a walk on at Arizona I believe? IDK if he came from the practice squad or not. But he's a nobody and he's running on the Steelers. The Steelers have some MAJOR issues, they're being exposed right now more than they have been in the 4 game losing streak.Hb31187 wrote: Ok seriously though some browns fan answer my question. Old, washed up linebackers, overrated (because of #43) DB's and a terrible offensive line (which was known but I'm not sure to this extent). Going to be awhile before they make it back to the top unless they get lucky IMO. -
Nonshould've only been three sacks
because the Steelers shouldn't have passed the first two when it was 3rd and 1 and 3rd and 3
that was on Arians not sticking with the run -
David St. HubbinsThis has to be the worst pass protection ive seen all year from the steelers. Giving up a sack on third and long with a against a three man rush? wow
Tyrone Carter sucking as usual - so far on the day, pathetic block and hold on a punt to wipe out a turnover, missed tackle on the big Cribbs run and his usual airtight pass coverage. Except for Woodley the defense looks about as bad as the offense. -
Non
it was knee and maybe a little thighLaley23 wrote:

Bob Papa made it sound like it was higher than it was when he said "that's the thigh"
it was also on the knee clearly and that rule was clearly defined before the season, can't go low and late on the quarterback -
royal_kTerrible call on the low hit.
This is total domination by the Browns lines on both sides of the ball. Something we are used to seeing from the Steelers. It's about time we return the favor. I love it! -
Ironman92Arians = Dusty Baker
-
Dr Jones
YES he is... the same moron who destroyed the lions..Laley23 wrote: Dumb announcer kept going on and on about how the ball didnt cross. Hey, dumbass, that only applies when the body is out of bounds. Jennings foot went into the endzone, that is enough. What a moron.
Matt Millen is a huge d-bag -
Ironman92Punt coverage...seriously
Here is an idea from a former golfer/baseball player...when the punt returner muffs it backwards and has to chase....don't play it like you are going to beat him to the ball...play it like he just GIFTED you 7 yards...shorten up as soon as he begins forward and make the easy tackle.
